1.22.17 : {Cell Division + Cancer} ✨I've never tried a mind map before, but I saw a tip about studying by condensing everything into one page, so a mind map seemed appropriate. ✨I just bought some metallic jelly rolls and thin lil 0.28 pens that I'm in love with but now my writing is so small like? @postingsareup is my debate/political blog! I’m a Public Forum Debater (+that one time I tried Policy), so I set up a blog to connect with other members of the forensics community on tumblr.

@aloha-glass is my glass blog (no, I do not make bongs, pipes, or anything drug-related. School rules that I wholeheartedly agree with.). My school has glass blowing facilities and I’ve taken the available courses to study and practice it. Now that my class is over, I have less time to blow, but I can blow during club times (if I manage to go to the club; the timing isn’t great).

@pretty-lilies-and-golden-stars is kind of my happy place/aesthetic tumblr. basically just a place to gather positive posts.

Once, I made a medblr, but I quickly found that I don’t yet have much to contribute to the meddler community. For now, I’m a spectator. If I’m still into tumblr by med school, I might restart my medblr.

Why did I choose my URL: My first studyblr URL was lily-ponderings, referencing my school’s iconic lily pond and the name of last year’s Variety Show (a big production put on by almost the entire senior class). But, most studyblr’s are more explicit about being a studyblr, so I changed my URL to aloha-studying. I figured that being from Hawai’i would set me apart a bit.

Fave colour: Blues n greens, especially colors like Tiffany blue and spindrift/seafoam.

Average hours of sleep: During the school week, 5. On the weekend, anywhere between 5 and 13, I think (debate, cross-country, and stuff like that would mean not sleeping in)

Lucky number: 3, 4, 13, 14, 17 (yeah, I know 4 is particularly bad in Chinese culture. That’s why my partner and I favor it for debate, as our team code).

Dream job: Either a neurologist, a pediatric neurologist, or maybe, just maybe, a neurosurgeon or pediatric neurosurgeon. I won’t cut out other specialties just yet, but right now, the nervous system is my favorite.

Since two of my uni acceptances have already come in, my parents are now excited for the mail in the hopes that there will be more. My mom just said "it feels like kindergarten admissions all over again!"

I think Tumblr unfollowed a lot of the people I follow w/o my permission (?)

I just noticed the Follow button for someone I thought I already followed. I follow every studyblr that follows me (and usually accompanying personal blogs). I just went through my list of followers and I tried to correct this.

If you follow me and I’m not following you, could you let me know? Or, just let me know if you want me to check.
