[Nightmares hadn't happened in a while which had been a good thing

But nightmares don't stay away forever]

[It was dark, Soup could tell she was hidding from someone? Something? But she was holding someone else with her, not making a noise as they hide

But it was too quiet

Everything had felt way too quiet, just moments ago you could hear talking and now there was nothing

Only footsteps as they got closer and closer to her

Soul was trying desperately not to panic, to keep quiet and keep her and Athena safe

And yet it hadn't been enough had it?

The foot steps got closer and closer, louder and louder until they stopped

And all she could see was gold eyes staring directly at her]

[Soul shot up and awake, her breathing uneven and trying to calm down but couldn't]

[Because it was dark and she couldn't see anything, she brought her knees up, using that to help]

[...she needed help-]

[Soul had mainly stayed asleep by Neth the last couple days, more being genuinely just exhausted from being around but not]

[But that never means nightmares always stay away]

[The dream itself started fine, it had been normal but then it shifted]

[Shifted to Neth being hurt and in pain while she had come back and being clueless on how even to help]

[To old words and wounds yelling, almost chanting about being weak, not deserving of any of the affection she got]

[Then back to Neth in pain on the floor and just saying]

"You did this, it's your fault"

[Soul- Soul awoke with a gasp, slightly holding onto Neth- whoever was by her as she fell back into fighting to stay]
