A dragon as a handful. That much Rowan started to learn. The little hatchling had been excited about going outside. For only a few months old, the little one was fast.

"I-Inferno! S-Slow down!" Rowan cried. His words fell on deaf ears. Inferno continued to run ahead, his pattern irregular. That made him much harder for Rowan to catch him. He thrilled and chirped, as he thought this was a game. It was a game of tag and he couldn't get caught. The young was far too amused with the game to care where he was headed.

At least they weren't in town. All this running about would have caused a lot of problems. However, heading toward the portal was something Inferno shouldn't be doing.

"N-No Stop-" Rowan's body stopped for only a minute as the hatchling disappeared into it. He took in a breath, his head shaking, and took off after the young. Hood pulled up tightly. No telling where the portal would take them.
