♡ Romance - I have no ships for Lo atm, I want to keep it open ended to give all the npcs/ocs/mcs a chance to shoot their shot (giving her PAN citizenship) and also she will be the last to fall in love because of how overwhelming her life is, so it might be a process of elimination as I flesh out the paths of the rest of the characters.
She would also be totally oblivious/in-denial about her feelings. She is a runner for sure. Whoever earns her romantic love/admiration will have to work overtime to break down her walls. In the meantime she will make it her personal business to be the cupid/relationship counselor for Hogwarts (professors and staff are not spared). Despite her professional personal observations and speculations about love, shes a fumbling mess when it comes to her own feels. Sweaty palms, red cheeks, head empty, and a mountain of nerves. (muahahahah)
▼ Childhood - I convinced myself her childhood is so integral to HL events it needs its own fic entirely. But here's one HC :
Alora only started to let her hair grow out when she was around 14 yrs old. Before that she would never let it past her ears. Mostly because that was the only way Iba (her paternal grandmother) would ever cut it because of how thick it grew, it was more practical to have it cut short than tame all that hair (plus that sub-tropical heat doesnt help either).
Letting her hair grow out was also a practical decision, as she was sooner or later to be at an age where she'd have to integrate into the muggle world independently, and couldnt depend on her family's magic to change her appearance for muggle tastes.
♦ Quirks/Hobbies - Alora is a bit of a restless character. Literally, because you could consider her an insomniac but also because she has a 1000-track mind (as opposed to a one-track mind). She doesnt understand boredom... if there is nothing to do she will not sit around and wait, she's going to leave and find someone who's business she can get into.
my HC is that her involvement in everyone's business (side quests) is not out of a desire to be good and help people without expecting anything in return, nor is it to stack up favors she is owed, she is honest to god just so curious about the troubles/weaknesses of the common wizard. She can never understand why any magical person could run into trouble at all. She knows there are sometimes problems that have no one solution, but that wont stop her from contemplating every possibility. She just takes everything seriously -Will ponder every question presented to her ever, no matter how small it may be. Her attention span is incredible for someone who's mind is always buzzing in multiple different directions.
