That moment you're so afraid to cosplay 'x' character(s) because you're afraid of: -being body shamed -being racially shamed ('not the right skin color') -not pleasing the people that look at it. Because unfortunately, cosplaying is not anymore about you turning into a badass character for a day and being in a loving community of geeks and nerds that wouldn't judge but instead embrace it, is not about fun anymore. Yep, that's the position I'm in right now.
