See, the problem is I can’t finish any of my stories because I’m stuck on the culinary worldbuilding. Because if Garak shares dumplings in yoghurt sauce with Julian, then Cardassia has yoghurt, which means it has dairy (which means it has CHEESE, this is important), which means they raise livestock for their milk, which means now I have to come up with a name for said livestock (assuming there aren’t multiple dairy animals, like earthlings with cows/goats/sheep etc) and I’d like to have a mental image of what they look like at least - and what their farms are like, how much the plants they graze on express a terroir in their milk, etc etc normal thoughts for a writer

and do NOT get me started on the herbs in the dumplings or I will be here for years
