Why i chose to blog about Monster Hunter
Monster Hunter, for me is in my top 5 favorite franchise’s, and before i made this blog, i had to think really hard if i was going to be committed to keeping it up. While Monhun is a series i love, my favorite franchise of all time, is actually Megami Tensei.
In the end i chose Monster Hunter, and for a few reasons. The social aspect of Monster Hunter is the main reason why i felt this would be the most fun, its a game where i can better communicate with fellow fan’s, rather then just speaking about a single player JRPG, it’s much nicer to be able to interact with my followers by Killing Rajang’s.
My sheer obsession with the series is another reason why, so far, Monhun is the only game i get so excited about that i end up completely ignoring my gaming backlog for, when a new monhun game drops, it becomes the ONLY game i’ll play for a few month’s.
And lastly, Monhun actually helps me and my Fiancée connect better, in terms of gaming, alittle while after 3U was around, i ended up getting her into the game, and shes been just as obsessed as i am, nothing really compares to getting a day off from work to go and pick up 2 copies of 4U for myself and her, and then going home to chill and hunt monsters together.
I’ve never had many issues with Capcom as a company, i grew up playing Megaman, in all different forms, my favorite being Battle Network, I love Street Fighter and iv’e been an avid competitive gamer for a while, and now Monhun has me obsessed. Thank you Capcom, for creating memories in gaming i’ll cherish until the day i die.
