one of the most iconic scientists of the 20th century and the first to study chimpanzee minds. by demonstrating that they share many key traits with humans, she redefined the view that we are uniquely different from other animals!!

she was also a fearless activist who founded the jane goodall institute to protect our wildlife! 🌿
