First pass at dyeing. Alpaca fiber and silk fabric take up the dye differently so the areas with fiber will be a softer colors than the vibrant colors that pop off of the silk. I'll decide after heat setting whether I need to add more dye to get the look I want.

Decided to go deeper and more saturated for my colors. Won't know exactly how it's going to look until it's dry.

Working on creating a new texture on one of my Nunofelted alpaca scarves with silk habotai. I usually create pleats in the opposite direction to add interest to a scarf but thought I'd try something less organized this time. It's always fun to experiment with fiber and fabric. Fingers crossed that it turns out well.

Diana finally had the chance to model the wrap I made for her. I think it looks lovely with her coloring.
