That's some delicious angst right there. Throw in a bit of Kris finding out and wanting the pup so badly with Bojan but thinking he won't want a pup with someone that isn't his mate and you have some good pining.

Adding onto that post with the platonic heat mates (although I don't think platonic is the right word for that... Maybe practical heat mates? Non-relationship heat mates? Idk but I like the concept) It only makes sense for Bojan and Kris to become platonic/practical heat mates, after Martin left the band and Nace got together with Jan they both needed someone to spend their heats/ruts with. They have some mind blowing sex, of course, but they are both suffering, having feelings for the other but thinking they are not reciprocated... In the end, the truth will come out one way or another. Maybe Kris becomes way too possessive, which shows his true feelings... Or Bojan just starts crying after sex and confessing everything... Or Bojan begging to have Kris' pups, wanting to have a family with him, and at first Kris thinks it's just his Breeding Kink, only to eventually discover that it's so much more than that...
