Haha anyways, As the titles says, Alpha 7.0 is almost done!
So what do we have left to do?
Well first, we need to decide what levels will have what special attack. But after that, We are going to get Aviscerall to create a boss theme for us! That way, it’s even more ntense when your fighting the bosses we were ranting about in the previous posts on the blog. You can follow all of our progress at our Github
Now, you may be asking, that’s nice what you are GOING to do, but what have you DONE already?
Well, that is a question I do have an answer for
To start things off, we made HUGE improvements to enemy movement, now then enemies move much more fluidly, and aren’t insanely fast. And also, now I gave them slightly more intelligence, and now they understand objects are meant to be walked around, not walked into repeatedly haha!
Second, we did a whole lot of organizing on our part on how things shall be done for the game. We finally decided how we are going to market and profit from the game (Cause we can’t live off of a top ramen budget forever…or can we?) and also how special attacks will be implmented in the next alpha! Which I’m sure will be alot of fun for you players, and our artists to get create! ( BUT A WHOOLLLEEEEEE LOT OF WORK, HAIR PULLING, AND BUG FIXING FOR THE PROGRAMMER D: )
But lastly, we created something I’m sure everyone will enjoy! MAP AND CHARACTER SELECTION!

Now, I’ll be honest with you, when you select something, it actually wont change when you play the game. BUT, it saves to your game settings, so when we go about doing this in the next milestone, it definitely will haha!
