I made an alpha boy mmmmm
Honestly having Alpha Legion operatives in other legions is such a great way to see the enemy POV/opinion on EVERYTHING. and its not just seeing the opposite point of view like a fight. Its the same point of view with a different mind behind it.
It's so unfair that only a few Primarchs/Legions get to be inspired by real life cultures and that some just get turned roman-adjacent. Like, what about some Iron Age Celtic inspired Death Guard? Or Spanish renaissance Raven Guard? Inca Alpha Legion? Give me Minoan Emperor's Children!
Samoan Salamanders. Mesopotamian Blood Angels.
I would love to see different cultures from all over the world represented in 40k.
Second revenge for @zerotimenow :3c alpha legion has such pretty colors 🩵🩵🩵
Why are there three alpha legion seedlings? Did they accidentally made an extra and what's the third one's name? :3
This is a question that is driving the Fabulous Doctor F crazy! The Alpha Legion Seedling was created just like the others, but upon examining it's progress, Doctor F discovered that it had diverged into three identical zygotes. His instinct was to flush the pod and start over again, but Vulkan was having none of that. So now we have Alpha, Sigma, and Omega. Suspiciously, their strength and abilities do not seem divided. And the three definitely share a psychic link. They switch identities throughout the day and have no strong connection to one name or another. Only a few people can correctly identify who is who. So the rule of thumb is the first one that talks is addressed as Alpha, the second as Sigma, and the last as Omega.
Played a game of Horus Heresy today! My Alpha Legion fought an uphill battle to wrest control of 2 objectives from the Iron Warriors, buried deep in their deployment zone behind a ceramite wall of dreadnoughts. After a bloody struggle to take the centre of the board with an iron fist of Cataphractii Terminators and harass their command structure with a Saboteur and Headhunter kill teams, the XX were able to catch up from behind and force the IV to a hard-fought draw at 14 points a side.
