One thing that's really obvious rereading Aurelian right after the Night Lord's Trilogy is that ADB was writing these things fast and very much at the same time (2010-2011).

The Night Lords, notably, use "night" in idioms where normally there would be "day".

And then in Aurelian, we get:

Lorgar gathered his crozius and rested the immense maul on his shoulder guard. ‘Everything changed that night.’

You will understand one night, Lorgar.

The Warmaster’s features were taut and blue-veined. He scarcely looked himself these nights.

‘If you think to relish all of eternity while playing puppeteer to my brother’s bones, you will find yourself fatally disappointed one night.’

Last night was reading the curze novel and I’m having so much feelings about Shang <\3

Context: Shang is asking Konrad about his visions, after a really bad episode.

Curze the typa guy to be like a cat and decide out of the blue to want some physical affection preferably completely in your personal bubble, yawn in your face with a jaw that could prolly rip your face off in half a bite and then claw you while kneading and leave by jumping off your stomach
