the contrast with the romantic love interest with the nikiforov Katsuki children. Hanari and Vladik like each other but Vladik doesn't want to get involved with anyone as he feels it would distract from his career. Hanari understands this but doesn't think it should end like that, so with his calm natural charm and charisma he pursues the young Altin Plisetski. He is kind and knows his limits, he always tries to think about Vladik's comfortability. They also dote on their younger siblings. Liliya outright doesn't like JJ junior(triple J) as he is cocky arrogant and a ladies man (or as Hanari labels him a man whore). She thinks he plays to much so she never pays attention to his brash and flirtatious mannerism. Though she knows he isn't a right out jackass she knows any relationship would lead to heartbreak and she doesn't want that. She however likes his style and confidence which she lacks.
