Update + Activity + Some seriousness

No, this is not a post about how I loved Star Trek and now I’m leaving to pursue other things.

Hey guys!

I am finally here to provide some sort of explanation for my utter lack of commitment to this blog. I just wanted to apologize for that, too. I know a lot of people were looking forward to writing with me, and I must have missed quite a lot. Most of my inactivity was due to the fact that there was always someone looking over my shoulder while I was on the computer, and I had no room for their judgments on my creative outlets. My family is not exactly thrilled with the idea of me talking to “strangers” on the internet, and I’m sure you know what that’s like if you’re reading this. 

Of course, there is always the family drama part of it, which was very hectic over the summer. I spent some time in and out of my dad’s in the last two years and it was very hard. Other than that, though, the total lack of privacy in my life was the primary reason why this blog was inactive. 

Now that I am on my own, though, I have a lot more free time than before, which actually does mean I will have time to RP. I know it’s been about a good year since I really sat down and wrote something up, but my love for Uhura and this fandom has absolutely no limits. It will always be there.

So, I’m going to try, once again, to commit to this blog like I had in the very beginning. I’ll tag some people in this in case they don’t see it, but I really wanna try, you know, acting like I’m a part of the fandom again. 

Thanks for all the support and encouragement. I can’t wait to get started!

not dead. school and life have been happening and my access to a computer has been extremely limited. Luckily now there are like 4 computers in the house so the only thing in the way is school. it’s my last year, so that might have a bigger impact than i want it to. 

so yeah, not dead, and definitely still here for this blog and this fandom. i am not doing a rehaul again, though, but am considering changing back to my old name LOL i dunno. i miss it. it was more... me, as Sar puts it (x

That much is clear in your computer records.”

“In that regard, you are much more like the James Kirk in my universe than the Kirk I once met in an ion storm. Did you know you killed Christopher Pike in my universe so that you could take the captaincy of the Enterprise?”
