\ooo/ Been thinking a lot about my first major speaking engagement. It was Ohio University and about 200 people filled a ballroom just to hear from this novelist they'd never heard of before. OU truly looked out for me those two days and I am so grateful for it. I still have friends I made there. Oh yeah.... this was the gig I quit my job over. They wouldn't give me the two days of leave THAT I HAD ALREADY EARNED, so I said eff it, I'm a famous author now lol I am still writing books.
