Daryl is confused.
You're always on his mind. Even if he doesn't try, there is always some thought in his mind for you. He can't understand why. You aren't special. You're no different than the other women in the group.
Yet your scent always gives him goosebumps.
Since he arrived with his brother Mel to the Atlanta group, something was different with you. Several male Alphas predominated who soon made their place in the group clear, Merle and Daryl were also Alphas, headstrong, dominant and territorial, but in the situation they were in it was unnecessary to start a confrontation with the group.
Shane, Ed, Dale and T-Dog were Alphas, younger, older, more impulsive or wiser, they balanced the group, Andrea was also an Alpha female along with Jacqui. Lori Grimes along with Carol, Morales' wife and Sophia were Omegas but being bonded their essences were weaker, plus Sophia was a girl who had not even entered her first heat. Glenn, Amy, Carl, Jim... they were Betas with a neutral scent.
And then there was you.
You were neutral, your scent was faint, barely detectable, like just another Beta, yet you had that touch, that little scent that got Daryl to always keep an eye on you. Daryl had always tried to be a less dominant Alpha, he had lived in his own skin, his own mother being dominated by his father, desperate for his essence as an Alpha. He'd always heard from his mother that they were destined, that they were soul mates.
Daryl has never believed that about the destined pair, the Alpha and Omega bonded.
No, not after seeing how his father mistreated his mother and themselves.
Yet there was something about you that always kept him on his toes. At first you didn't have much trust, you were always hanging around the group of women, taking care of chores, Daryl would go off with his brother to hunt, to bring food for everyone, but when Merle disappeared, when you left camp to go all the way to the CDC for help, you and Daryl shared his truck. At first the conversation didn't flow from either of you, Daryl looked at you absentmindedly as he drove, gradually the conversation flowed between you, you even laughed despite the whole situation, saying goodbye to Jim was hard and once again plunged the trip into an intense silence. One that was enough for Daryl to assure himself that he wouldn't let anything bad happen to you, that he would fight to protect you even if it was from himself.
He delivered as best he could, he got you out of the CDC alive and came back for you when T-Dog told him you were left behind with Andrea. He didn't think twice, he skidded the bike on the dirt floor and went back to the farm looking for you. He couldn't leave you there.
He couldn't lose you. For some reason, his mind wouldn't let him, he felt something tearing at him inside but he didn't know what.
It took you eight months to find a place where you could feel safe again. Daryl couldn't confidently say that it was home, but with a pregnant woman about to give birth, it was better than nothing. After eight months of wandering that prison provided security, you managed to enter the outer courtyard and Rick was planning to take over at least one of the blocks, but first the group had to regain strength.
Daryl keeps turning his mind over, he can't stop thinking about everything and nothing at the same time. He sighs and becomes alert as soon as he senses Carol's presence trying to climb onto the bus he is standing guard on. The Alpha helps her up and she holds out a plate of food.
"It's not much, but otherwise you would have run out..."
"Little Shane has a good appetite." He mumbles wolfing down what's on the plate using his hands as a fork.
"Don't be mean..." Carol whispers, but a knowing chuckle escapes her. "How are you? Since we left the farm you seem distracted."
There's that innate Omega instinct. Daryl can sense her scent, since she lost her husband, Ed, she is now a lone Omega, she can be claimed again by another Alpha, yet her scent is faint, as if she is still bound to Ed in some way. Carol does not arouse in him the curiosity he feels with you, he considers her an equal, he has even begun to appreciate her as a friend, wanting to protect her from his pain, from the loss of his daughter, but nothing more. Through his mind goes the idea of talking to her about what is happening to him. Perhaps by putting it out loud he will feel somewhat less confused.
"Ya... Have ya noticed anything strange with her?" he murmurs, shaking his head pointing at you absentmindedly, you are in the circle with the others by the fire, oblivious to the conversation of your companions.
"Anything weird, what do you mean?"
"I-I dunno... I know she's a Beta, but her essence is..."
"Oh, I get it, maybe you should talk to her. Maybe you'd be surprised at the answer." Carol says cryptically, and it certainly doesn't help Daryl at all.
"I think... she doesn't feel very comfortable when I'm around..." He tries to excuse himself, Carol gives him a bored look and massages his shoulder wincing in pain. "Yer okay?"
"Yeah, it's my shoulder, with the recoil of the rifle, it's bothering me."
"Lemme." He tells her setting the plate aside and massages the woman's shoulder.
"Uhm how romantic." She jokes laughing when she hears Daryl snort in amusement and nervousness.
In between jokes and nervous laughter, Daryl and Carol get off the bus to meet up with the others. The Alpha is feeling a little calmer, he hasn't told the widow his troubles, but he feels better. He helps Carol off and his skin crawls with goosebumps as he senses your scent there, maybe you've overheard the conversation or maybe it's himself starting to hallucinate. He doesn't want to say anything, so he pretends not to smell you and they return to the group listening to Beth sing.
Daryl feels the prison falling on you like a tomb. You try to enter, the dead fall on you with hunger, in the kitchens of the block there are several prisoners who have survived, but some of them are hostile, you lose several companions, T Dog, Hershel must amputate a leg, Carol, Lori... Carl appears with a baby in his hands and Rick loses his head. Everything suddenly becomes chaos, but you have to think with a cool head, Hershel needs help, you have to keep an eye on the prisoners who have stayed with you, you have to keep an eye on Rick, that he doesn't do anything crazy and there is a little girl who needs to be fed as soon as possible.
"Not far from here there should be a supermarket, we saw the sign a few days ago while we were on the road." Glenn says and Maggie nods her head.
"We can't all go, there are cars all over the road." Maggie says in frustration, Daryl grunts chewing his lip nervously.
"I'll go, ya guys stay here, keep an eye on the prisoners, make sure Hershel is okay." He gives several directions and everyone seems compliant, he touches Beth's shoulder who as a young Omega her maternal instincts have kicked in and cares for the little baby. "Keep an eye on her, and Carl, he's lost his mother and if anythin'..."
"Don't worry, I'll handle it." She nods her head walking away back inside the pavilion. Daryl then grabs your hand and you turn around confused.
"Come with me." It's a command, but his voice is soft, calm, yet you can still feel it get under your skin making you shiver. "If we both go on the bike we can bring more stuff."
"Okay." You agree, but you sense something isn't quite right, Daryl's influence is affecting you more than it should.
The Alpha notices it too. He notices something different when you get on the bike, hugging you to his back, your scent has intensified, a sweet smell hits his nose, making him frown. Confused.
You don't make it to the mall Glenn told you about, Daryl turns off on another road finding a small town where there is a kindergarten, there it's much more likely that no one has looted what's inside than a mall. The motorcycle's engine purrs to a complete shutdown, Daryl positions the bike nicely and you let go of his waist.
"We'll check this place out first." Daryl says as you enter the kindergarten. "If we ain't find anythin' useful, drive to the mall."
You nod your head following his plan. Carefully the two of you enter the kindergarten in search of things for the little baby. You keep quiet every moment, you don't know if there might be any Walkers in there and you don't want to attract the attention of any more. The first room you enter gives you goose bumps. There are a bunch of drawings of different children, some hands with names on them, one in particular catches both of your attention "Sophia". You know that for Daryl it was a hard blow not to find the girl alive, he put his own life in danger for her. Now you understand many things, Daryl has been trying to be close to Carol since you left the camp, with Ed out of the picture, the Alpha was trying to claim her as his own, those little details with her proved your theory, plus the complicity between them. Now Carol was gone and Daryl seemed mortified by it. It hurts you to see him like this, but it hurts you even more to feel selfish. Daryl has caught your attention ever since he showed up at the camp with his brother, yet you've always shielded yourself from the Alphas, trying to be indifferent, to not make yourself noticed, but Daryl managed to seep through your skin and those little gestures, those little moments that showed you he would never be like his brother, those things made your feelings for him grow stronger.
Which reminds you...
"I'm going to the bathroom." You tell him when you see him open a drawer pulling out a bunch of diapers and some new bottles. "Maybe there's something in there for Hershel, we need clean bandages, antibiotics..."
"'kay, but be careful." He asks looking over his shoulder at you. You nod and walk away down the hall.
Actually your goal isn't medication to ease Hershel's pain. You need something for yourself. You open all the drawers, of course you take everything that might be useful, but you don't find what you're looking for.
"Come on..." You whisper, in your backpack you have no more, you need to find a full box. "Oh thank God." You gasp when you find it.
"What's that?" your heart stops when you hear Daryl's voice next to you.
The Alpha walks towards you, with two long strides he reaches you and snatches the pills out of your hand. His eyes widen and travel from you to the box and back to you. Omega hormone suppressants. Anger begins to bubble under his skin, everything makes sense now. His confusion with you, your different, but not too intense scent, your flighty looks.
"Yer an Omega..." He hisses angrily, you lower your head feeling his scent abruptly impose itself on you making you moan.
"I need them Daryl..." You tell him wanting them back, but Daryl abruptly pulls away.
"No." He roars throwing them to the ground, stomping on them angrily.
"No! No, Daryl, stop!" you try to stop him, but he grabs your neck pinning you against the wall. Nervousness and fear mix inside you with helplessness and anger.
"Ya ain't need that shit... Why are ya hidin' who ya 're?"
"Why?" there is irony and anger in your voice. "Because I'm an Omega, who was traveling alone, in a group with unclaimed Alpha men, I'm... I'm like a fucking bullseye. I wasn't going to let just anyone come up to me and touch me."
"That ain't gonna happen." Daryl assures you, releasing you and putting some distance between you.
"Oh no? Oscar and Axel are Alphas, Rick has lost his wife, but he's an Alpha too, you..."
"I ain't gonna let anythin' bad happen to ya." He cuts off your words feeling his body tremble as he imagines himself with you.
"And how do you plan to do that?" you fold your arms, still angry, but you feel your heart racing.
"I'm gonna take care of ya. I won't let anyone touch ya, no one will hurt ya." He promises you, but his gaze flicks to the ground and his brow furrows as he looks back at you. "But ain't take that shit again." You can't add anything to defend yourself, Daryl turns away to continue on with your main mission.
The effect of the last suppressant you had taken wears off faster and faster, your real scent surfaces, sweet, smooth, a hint of cinnamon and peach that makes Daryl dizzy for an instant. He has never smelled anything like it before. His gaze is riveted on every move you make, you've reached the kitchen where you find powdered milk and the man has caught a possum. He has promised he won't let anyone hurt you.
But he isn't sure he can protect you from himself.
The journey to the prison is tense, every touch your bodies receive your skin tingles, now that you have nothing to quell your own instincts the closeness of the Alpha is harder for you to deal with. The same happens to Daryl, if he was already curious about you believing you to be a Beta, now his inner animal demands to study you closely, to learn your scent, to discover your heat cycle. And claim you.
Daryl stops the bike as you pass the massive prison gates and growls angrily when his mind throws that possibility at him. No, he's not going to do it. Because you don't want to belong to anyone, it's been made clear to him, you've been hiding from all of them so they'll leave you alone. You are clearly not interested in being anyone's Omega. Your essence doesn't go unnoticed by anyone, but it's clear that Glenn and Maggie already knew that. Now Daryl understands why you traveled with them to get drugs whenever they had to leave the farm.
Hershel awakens for a few moments from his unconscious state so that you all breathe a sigh of relief as he has not transformed, on the other hand, Maggie and you take care of preparing a bottle for the little girl who has no name yet, the baby travels from Beth's arms to her brother's and to Daryl. You are surprised when you see the archer hold the baby with great care, whispering soft words to keep her calm, cradling her in his arms, seeming to be afraid she might break at any moment, but he doesn't let go. Maggie gives him the bottle and Daryl doesn't hesitate to give it to her, the little one drinks hungrily mumbling in the arms of the man who smiles in a sincere way. His gaze travels between his companions before settling on you. His smile doesn't falter, but you both feel a shiver run through.
Seeing Daryl show up with Carol in his arms hurts. It hurts you more than you want to admit. Of course you're glad Carol is alive, you'd never say otherwise, but for a moment you believed Daryl's words when he said he'd take care of you. Now that the Omega is back with the group, you doubt very much that the Alpha has time to waste on you.
"Y'knew that, didn't ya?" Daryl asks Carol when they are left alone in the woman's cell.
"That she was an Omega girl? Of course I did." Carol is tired, a little dizzy and dehydrated still, but she knows her friend needs to talk.
"Why didn't ya tell me when I asked y' about her that night?"
"Because it wasn't my obligation. I didn't want to force your decision to claim her."
"She ain't want to be claimed." He mutters feeling the tips of his ears burn.
"Is that what she told you?"
"She was takin' suppressants, I think it's obvious that..."
"I think it's obvious you don't understand anything." She laughs a little but Daryl frowns. She didn't want to be claimed by just anyone, Daryl, the world for the Omegas has always been hostile, now add a world that has fallen apart and those few laws that kept us safe are no longer worth anything..." she explains and Daryl looks down understanding Carol's words.
"I ain't gonna let anythin' bad happen to her..." He whispers.
"I know." The woman smiles and closes her eyes feeling tired again.
Things at the prison slowly seem to be stabilizing again. Hershel is healed, with his crutches he is walking around the prison block and garden with no problems, the baby, Judith, is growing healthy and strong, you still have enough food for her, Carol has regained her strength and Rick has come to his senses. With each passing day it seems that this place can be called home, Rick has started work on a part of the garden to prepare a vegetable garden and an area for animals, to have some more food in case supplies start to run low. Oscar and Axel have made a place for themselves within the group, although there is some reluctance with them, but they have proven not to be very bad people. You and Daryl are back to where you were before your essence completely invaded his brain. The treatment between you is polite, there are fluent conversations and others perhaps more forced, you laugh and share some time taking care of Judith and Carl, but you have not talked about your condition again, about the suppressors. Even Rick was surprised when he discovered your true nature, but said nothing.
That morning you feel mortified. The change has started in the middle of the night. You began to feel the sweat building up on your body with increasing speed. The hot months are starting to take their toll, the prison is big but it's like a greenhouse, which makes the feeling more stifling. But you know it's not just that.
It's your heat.
You've been blocking it for months with the suppressants you were taking until Daryl forbade you to go on them and now your heat is hitting you hard. You feel your whole body tremble, your sore skin protests at the slightest touch. You have to get out of there, you're standing guard with Beth, you know she's not a threat, but you can't stay there, if you detect the scent of any of the Alphas inside the prison....
If they sense you...
Daryl startles on his cot, cold sweat runs down his back, he gasps looking around as he's not sure what's going on. There is something in the atmosphere that is weighing him down. He feels a strange warmth all over his body, an alarm screaming at him that something is wrong. He rises like a spring grabbing his crossbow, leaving the cell, he is walking down the stairs when he sees Carol also out of her own cabin, they share a glance and the woman nods her head. Daryl's heart skips a beat and he bolts out of the cellblock.
He freezes for a few seconds, the sun beating cruelly on his eyes, but when he is able to focus his eyes, he immediately discovers what it is that has him upset. Near the orchard Rick is preparing is you. Lying on the ground, trembling, panting, you hug yourself as if trying to control yourself. Oscar and Axel are getting closer to you and that disturbs the Alpha even more.
Instinctively he roars, his essence as a dominant Alpha is triggered. He raises his crossbow and fires one of his bolts at the two men. He does not intend to kill them, but the arrow crosses between the two men with a menacing hiss. They stop and turn to see him approaching at a slow but determined pace, his footsteps are heavy, he frowns and breathes heavily through his nose. The aura that envelops him is intense, dangerous, commanding. Daryl has never let his instincts go off like that, but he promised you he would protect you, and that's what he's going to do.
"Stay away from her." He growls in a hoarse voice as he reaches the two prisoners.
"She's an Omega, anyone has a right to claim her." Oscar speaks earning a death glare from the archer.
"Not anyone. She doesn't want to be claimed. Beat it."
"Look at her, she's wanting it." This time Axel speaks, Daryl's gaze goes to you, they are a few feet away still far away, they only see that you need to relieve your heat, Daryl sees your pain, your overexertion to control your heat, he sees the desperation, the rage, everything he felt when he watched his mother succumb to her instinct before his father. "She needs an Alpha to fuck her hard while marking her." Axel's voice reaches Daryl's ears again like a rasping whistle.
Axel is the same height as Daryl, Oscar is quite a bit taller, but the archer doesn't mind at all. He's ready to knock them both down if he has to. He clenches his fists ready to fight them, cuts them off towards you and growls once more.
"I told ya two to get the hell out... I won't say it again."
The two prisoners brace themselves, but before they can be conscious, Axel is knocked out on the ground and Oscar takes a punch to the chin that leaves him sitting on the ground. Daryl may not be that big, but he is agile and lethal. He snaps furiously before turning around ready to help you. He knows he has to get you out of there.
When he reaches you, your strong scent stuns him for an instant. His instinct wanting to take over. He feels his whole body screaming to put you against the ground and do what Axel has suggested before Daryl knocked him to the ground with one blow. He grunts, he can't do that. Controlling himself he leans into you touching your shoulder, you jump and groan, your skin hurts desperately looking for someone to ease your pain in the broadest sense of the word. Daryl feels goose bumps on his skin as soon as he makes contact with yours. The warmth you give off envelops him and your scent intoxicates him, but he knows you must be going through something similar.
"L-listen to me..." He says in a deep voice. "I'm gonna get ya out of here, can ya move?" he tries to be as rational as possible. You shake your head and hug him, trembling.
"H-Help me, Daryl, please..." You cry, feeling your whole body react to him.
"Believe me, I'm tryin', but ya ain't makin' it easy for me." He sniffles and bites his lip. "I'm gonna get ya up, I gotta carry ya to the bike." Again he tries to control himself as best he can, you crawl up until you are totally glued to him, that doesn't help him at all with his self control, but it does help him to lift you off the ground and carry you to his bike.
Hugging his body Daryl gets up from the ground with you in his arms, luckily his bike isn't too far away. Carefully he releases you so you can both get on the vehicle and he rests your hands on his waist.
"Hold on." He asks you but tenses when your hands land on his crotch. "Not there. I know it's hard, but try to control yerself." He asks you grunting as his own control is starting to fail.
"I'm sorry..." You whisper against the skin on the back of his neck and Daryl rips away from there.
He can't say he knows why he brought you here, he was just looking for a place where you could feel safe and before he is aware, you are in the kindergarten where you found everything you needed for Judith. Carefully he helps you off the bike, every rub or movement hurts and bothers you, the smell of the Alpha makes you dizzy and you feel your insides quiver, getting wetter, getting ready to receive him, but Daryl is not going to do any of that, you know that.
He's already made his choice.
He guides you to one of the empty rooms, grabs the children's mats, stuffed animals, some pillows and lays everything out in a hurried but orderly fashion. He is preparing a nest for you. He helps you settle into it and strangely you feel better, but when Daryl tries to move away, you hold him back with you.
"Don't go... don't leave me, please." You beg, hiding your face in his neck.
"I'm sorry, but I promised ya I would help ya and... I... I need to get away so I ain't hurt ya." He wants to make you understand, but you shake your head.
"Daryl, please...I need you." You cry against his shoulder, your body burning.
"Listen to me..." He tries to make his voice calm, but you don't listen. "Omega, listen to me." His presence suddenly changes, his authoritative voice, his instinct seeping inside your head causes you to come to. You look up at him with wide eyes and he leans his forehead against yours, relieved to see that you seem to react. "I have to go, at least until you calm down. If I stay I'll do something we'll regret later." He hones in and you close your eyes, a tear escapes from them but you nod.
"I-I understand... I'm sorry, Daryl..."
"I ain't gonna leave ya 'lone, I'll be back, but I gotta talk to Rick 'bout this, but I'll be back, okay? Just... try to lighten up a little." He says but he feels stupid, he knows it's not going to be that easy for you, but if he gets his hands on you now....
It hurts him to see you suffer like that, he doesn't understand why the Omega's fate is so cruel, so tied to his most primal instinct. He snorts in frustration and leaves you a knife nearby in case some Walker shows up or another Alpha can detect your scent. Not without hesitation he leaves you there, heading back to the prison, he needs to talk to Rick, tell him about your heat, explain that you'd better stay away from there until you calm down. There are several Alphas without a bonded partner and it could be dangerous for you.
When he arrives at the prison the first person to greet him is Carol, but inside the block everyone is gathered, as if waiting to see you both show up together. The white-haired woman's brow furrows and she folds her arms.
"Where is she?" she asks behind him, your name making Daryl flinch.
"I've left her somewhere safe..."
"Alone?" Rick's surprised tone speaks for the rest of the group.
"I needed to get her out of here, it was dangerous, I'll come back for her when she calms down..." He tries to justify himself.
"She's not going to calm down, Daryl." Carol speaks again. "She's been suppressing her heat for months, she must be in a lot of pain."
"Y'think I haven't noticed? It's the best I can do..."
"The best you can do is reclaim her, you idiot." The woman scolds him again and Daryl falls silent, he feels the tips of his ears burning as the stares of the rest of the group fall on him. "Have you really not noticed? Even you knocked out Axel and Oscar..." She says amused when she hears him growl looking at the two prisoners who instinctively back away.
"Don't talk to me about that soul mate stuff, because it's bullshit."
"It's not... sometimes it happens." Hershel interjects, moving slowly on his crutches. "They're isolated cases, it doesn't happen often, but they do exist. An attraction you can't control, a constant connection, the feeling that something is missing when the other isn't around, you've felt it, haven't you?" he looks at Daryl who swallows hard, his skin twitching because he knows what he's referring to.
Of course he's felt it, from day one, your different scent, the constant need to know where you were, your gazes meeting because you couldn't help but look for each other, your zeal, how he woke up that morning overwhelmed knowing something was going on. But no, that can't be it, his memories as a child still haunt him.
"My mother said my father was her soul mate, that they were meant to be together, that it was true love." He says angrily, clenching his fists. "There wasn't a single day when he didn't beat her, when he didn't abuse her, when he didn't abuse her just because she was an Omega and she...she let all that happen...and when she died..." He bites his tongue lowering his head, everyone falls silent, understanding his story. "No, that ain't true love..."
"You're not your father, Daryl. You protected her to begin with, you took her away so no one would hurt her. You haven't even touched her." Rick tries to reason, but Daryl shakes his head.
"Not for lack of wanting to...she...it hurt me to see her like that, she wouldn't stop shaking..."
"Daryl, she needs you, she came to see me apologizing." Confesses Carol fed up with her friend's doubts.
"What?"
"She thinks you chose me." A laugh escapes the woman and Daryl stammers uncomfortably. "She feels as strongly as you do about her, but she thought you were willing to bond with me, I think she heard us that night you were standing guard..." She reminds him and he lowers his head, embarrassed.
"Shit..."
"Daryl, go back and get her." Rick orders him. "Don't let her suffer anymore. Neither of you deserve it. You're linked believe it or not. We've all noticed it from day one." Rick came later to the group and even he could tell how the Alpha's essence blended with yours that didn't seem to be defined by anything in particular.
"If you don't do it, we will." Oscar then speaks and Daryl's gaze turns dark.
Daryl returns to the kindergarten leaving the bike hidden as he has done the other times. He needs a moment to calm down, his heart is racing and his knuckles hurt. He looks at his hands, discovering blood still on them, maybe he shouldn't have hit the prisoner so hard, but he had brought it on himself. He sighs long sigh getting off the bike to go back inside the kindergarten. His whole body reacts as he enters the place. Your smell is getting stronger, more intense, you're out of control and he's having a hard time holding it in. Daryl walks to the room where you are waiting for him and the smell is much stronger there. He gets dizzy, he needs a moment to focus his gaze on you, his nose burns at your deep scent. When he manages to look at you his whole body tenses. You've stripped off your clothes, suffocated, aching, needy, your hands try to soothe you, your fingers move all over your skin, you gasp and moan low, your thighs clench, you're leaving a wet spot on the mats Daryl has left as a nest. He grunts in despair. He can't hold back any longer.
His growl makes you look up at him, your body jerks harder as you see him shed his clothes to move closer to you. You shrink back into yourself, since Daryl has left your mind has wandered making you see and feel the man even though he's not there, now you don't know if he's a hallucination again. You hate that feeling. You hate being an Omega dragged down by your own impulses.
"I'm back..." Daryl says, his voice hoarse.
"No... no, please, stop it..." You gasp through tears and the Alpha freaks out for a moment. "I can't take it anymore..." Daryl hesitates for a second, it's clear that your heat is playing with your mind.
He kneels in front of you, his body over yours, trapping you but not laying on top of you, just keeping you protected under him. He bends his head and his forehead rests on yours, closes his eyes and growls low, his Alpha scent intensifying, mingling with yours, enveloping you both. He needs a moment, his whole body trembling over yours.
"Listen to me, Omega." His voice sounds authoritative, trying to bring you back into yourself once more. "I'm real, I'm here."
"Da-Daryl..." You look up at him from the corner of your eye, your eyes filled with tears, desperation and need captured in them.
"That's right, I'm here. I'm gonna take care of ya." He purrs against your ear.
Daryl leans over you, kissing you. At first it's a soft, gentle gesture, just his lips pressed against yours, but when you sigh and kiss him too, everything intensifies. Daryl's mouth traps yours in a more demanding kiss, you kiss urgently, maybe not the time or place for this, but neither of you are indulging your more conscious side. Daryl traps you against the nest, his hips move against you rubbing your bodies together, you moan against his mouth feeling your body react to his caresses, your legs wrap around his lower back as he bites your chin before moving down your neck, kissing your skin, feeling the heat grow more intense between the two of you. Blinded by your own needs all your instinct is what controls your every action. Daryl strives to mark every crease of your skin, he licks, kisses and bites wherever he reaches pulling delicious sounds out of you that manage to make you blush, as you move your hips rubbing against his growing erection, feeling yourself getting wetter and wetter thinking about feeling him fully inside you. You moan loudly as his mouth closes around your sensitive, attention-deprived, completely hard nipples, Daryl licks and sucks as he stimulates the one that has been out of his mouth's reach, plays with it between his fingers, squeezes and pulls on it producing spasms of pleasure that run through your body.
"Daryl!" you moan his name once more, his fingers caress your skin, your core, gasp against your nipple as you feel his fingers slide seamlessly between your folds.
"Yer so wet..." He grunts he lifts his head to look at you as his fingers play with your pussy, without touching your clit they run along your slit, soaking in your fluids, parting your folds, groping the entrance to your vagina which clenches wanting him to fill it at last. He snorts seeking some control, he wants to bury himself inside you as much as you want to feel him, but he doesn't want to cum, he wants both of you to enjoy as much as possible. "I'm gonna make ya feel good, girl." He confesses in your ear before sliding down your body.
Daryl untangles your legs from his waist to drape them over his shoulders, he spreads your thighs apart and his tongue runs all over your pussy. He hums in pleasure as he tastes you on his tongue, further clouding his senses.
"Ya taste so good..." He says hoarsely and attacks your core again, his lips catch your clit, sore and forgotten making you cry out in pleasure, desperate, tangling your fingers in his hair.
You cum in his mouth as his fingers work their way inside your cunt, his tongue collecting your fluids dripping down his chin. The rut is pushing you over the edge and any caress gets you to spill. Daryl doesn't mind, he catches your taste again and again, his fingers dilating you, stretching your insides, as his mouth tortures your overstimulated pussy, your legs trembling on his shoulders, your vision blurred.
But he too has a limit and his cock throbs aching, needing attention, leaking pre-cum, swollen, reddened. He gasps pulling away from your pussy, licks his lips and pulls his fingers from inside you, strokes your lips and you open your mouth obediently, licking his fingers, sucking, tasting yourself on them, moaning low. It's more than he can bear. He spreads your legs apart and guides his cock rubbing against your entrance before thrusting and feeling you clench around him. You share a moan of satisfaction as you finally come together. Something you had been wanting for a long time. Daryl begins to move slowly watching his cock as he moves in and out of your tight core, as he engulfs it wanting to hold it inside you. Slowly he increases the speed of his onslaught, tightening his grip on your legs, watching you arch and moan under his body, the wet clash of your bodies mingling with your heaving breaths and gasps.
"D-Daryl! More... harder...!" You plead with him when you're able to find your voice.
"Is that what ya want, babe? Ya wanna me to tear ya apart?" he growls against your ear and you nod in desperation. "I'm gonna fuck ya so good that tomorrow ya'll cum at the memory of it." He whispers in your ear and you moan rolling your eyes.
Daryl pulls away just long enough to move you over and get you on all fours. He leans your body forward so he has your hips raised and holds you by the waist ramming back inside you. The new deeper angle elicits a cry of surprise and pleasure from you. You hold on to the pillows adorning the nest, moving your hips in time with him, making his thrusts deeper, more intense, taking you both to the limit.
"I-I'm going to cum, Daryl I..." Again you are unable to say a sentence in a row, but he feels the same way.
"Me too, baby..."
"Please, I want... your knot..." You gasp and Daryl tenses for a second. His body leans over yours, his hands resting on the floor, his cock barely moving inside you. You groan in frustration at the sudden stop.
"What? Tell me, girl. I need to hear it." He whispers huskily.
"Daryl, please..."
"Tell me, Omega." He roars, demands and thrusts hard a single time, you moan feeling it hit your cervix making you see stars.
"Cum inside, Alpha, I want your knot!" You moan unable to disobey his commands and Daryl has to overexert himself not to cum at your words.
"Is that what ya need? Ya need yer Alpha to fill ya, right?" You nod desperate. "I'm gonna cum, I'm gonna knot myself up and I'm gonna put our puppies inside ya." He says gritting his teeth, starting to move again and you moan in desperation at the thought.
"Yes, Alpha, please!"
"So desperate... so needy..." He gasps against your ear once more. "Mine..." He grunts and thrusts hard again as he bites down on your neck viciously, unable to control himself any longer.
You cry out in pain, but the pleasure quickly overtakes you, the base of his cock swells and snaps inside you, stretching your walls stretching you out throwing you into a new orgasm that tightens around his cock, Daryl moans and grunts feeling himself cumming.
"That's it, milk me, every drop of cum is making our babies." He whispers and your body shudders once more.
It takes several minutes for Daryl's knot to disappear, keeping you in that position a little longer. When the Alpha manages to move he hisses at the sensation as he pulls out of you, a thin trickle of cum trickles out of your cunt and he can't help but smile proudly, he has filled you so good. Carefully he lies down next to you, neither of you say anything, the effect of the heat has subsided a little, your minds are more aware. Daryl glances sideways at you, your body still trembling, you're cowering, turning your back to him, his bite, His Mark is seen on the back of your neck, through the tufts of hair. A sob puts him on alert and he feels himself suddenly fall from his own state of ecstasy.
"What...?"
"I'm sorry... I tried... I wanted to hide it, but..." You cry and shrink in on yourself more. Daryl feels his heart stop for a second.
It's been a mistake. Damn it, he knew. None of that true love stuff exists, none of that soul mate stuff is real. He's taken advantage of your weakness and marked you as his when you didn't want to be. Fuck, he swore he'd help you and he's been the one to condemn you.
Suddenly he feels a heavy, deadly rock lodge in his stomach, preventing him from speaking, from moving, he can only watch as you cry and tremble.
"I know you had chosen Carol, I didn't want to get in the way, Daryl I'm so sorry..." You cry again and the Alpha's pained expression turns to surprise.
What?
You're crying because you think he and Carol?
"God, ya almost gave me a heart attack." He says letting out a sniffle and covers his face with his arm before sitting up. "Yer stupid."He says and your body visibly tenses and he regrets using those words. He's certainly not the most delicate person to say things. "I mean Carol and I don't have anything, we're just friends..."
"What? But I... I heard you two talking and you always seem so worried about her... when she disappeared, you..." You stammer and look at him sideways, afraid, Daryl smiles moving closer to you, he hugs you leaning you against his chest, you immediately snuggle against him, feeling like that's the place to be.
"We're friends..." He repeats. "Maybe I even felt the need to protect her because she reminded me of my mother, of what she went through... but I could never look at her the way I do with ya." He confesses and strokes your hair. "From the first day I saw ya, I felt a connection with ya, I didn't wanna believe it but..."
"I-I also felt something different when you were around... it never happened to me before..."
"Tell me... Do ya believe in soul mates?" he whispers without stopping caressing your skin and you feel your heart start beating very fast again.
The End.
