Just over a month ago I posted about an incredible AlphaSphere live performance video posted by user Jason Hou. However just over a week ago Adapted Records posted the video on Facebook and it instantly went viral, and to do date it has received almost 200,000 shares resulting in over 9 million views. Not bad for 11 days!
This also resulted in a bit of extra press, most notably this Telegraph article and this THUMP article.
AlphaSphere user Jason Hou recently uploaded this incredible POV live performance video of one of his tracks being performed on the 'sphere. Great to see our users using the device to it's full potential!
A couple of weeks ago we (nu desine/AlphaSphere) were excited to announce the release of AlphaLive version 1.3.0.
This is a significant update to the AlphaSphere software and firmware, and it includes some great new features such as LED control and configuration, MIDI Dynamic Channel Mode, Pressure-Latch Mode, and MIDI Clock support.
See http://www.alphasphere.com/alphalive-version-history/ for more information.
We recently started rolling out a new set of tutorial videos covering how to use every aspect of the AlphaSphere software, AlphaLive. The first video starts off with using MIDI Mode and mapping different notational arrangements around the 'sphere. Check it out.

Today we released the first ever set of AlphaSphere tutorial videos. This set of 7 videos shows you how you can setup the AlphaSphere as a multichannel MIDI instrument and then use it with a number of different DAW's and MIDI sequencing applications. Keep an eye out for more coming very soon...
Last week the AlphaSphere nexus officially went on sale in Japan through our Japanese distributors Dirigent. It is now available to buy from Digimart, with plans to be in other shops very soon.
