So I'm curious, is your family FROM Louisiana? I just ask because Aucoin is a French ass name, which is common in New Orleans (like my grandma's surname is Gautier) with families who have lived there for generations.

1. I’m Scottish/Moroccan (specifically half Berber)2. I grew up jumping/living between two countries before my dad died3. I cook a mean lamb tagine4. I love books. I hate bookshop customers.5. I’ve had some very odd jobs. Oddest was probably working in a curiosity shop for an eccentric millionaire, selling swords and taxidermy to eccentric millionaire customers. I think the oddest thing I’ve ever sold was a set of taxidermy ducklings positioned in erotic poses. (Someone actually called the police on us for that)6. When I was a kid I used to be terrified of the toilet flushing. I was so convinced it was a monster who needed to be appeased, so I started sacrificing my toys to it by flushing them down the loo (I even held mini rituals around the toilet seat).7. I love outdoorsy adventurey things, especially kayaking/canoeing, hillwalking/mountaineering, long distance hiking and horse riding8. I love to travel, it’s true. As someone who is Mexican, I've seen your url a kagillion times and it has never once offended me. I don't quite understand how someone could be offended by the word taco? Like, it's a food item, and a delicious food item at that. Not to mention, common in Mexican culture. It is not degrading or racist, and I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who thinks it is (especially other latin people, like, take pride in them tacos homies), but that anon just needs to piss off. That is all.
