Celebrated worldwide, the Italian costume designer Piero Tosi (@pierotosiofficial) created this beautiful and delicate dressing gown. The costume made its first known appearance in the 1981 film 𝑳𝒂 𝑫𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒖𝒙 𝑪𝒂𝒎é𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒔 (𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒔), where the talented Isabelle Huppert wore it as Alphonsine Plessis. The costume later went on to be worn by Mia Fothergill as Giuditta in the 1993 film 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝒅𝒊 𝒖𝒏𝒂 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂 (𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘) before making its third appearance in the 1998 adaptation of 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆, where Kelly Macdonald wore it beautifully as Hortense Hulot.
