More headcanons made with @transhumanideals of our character Alpine and his relationship with Yuca! Having grown up in an icejin colony (one that needs to ration their supplies), sometimes the needs of a little saiyan girl will go unnoticed. After all, icejins don’t really ‘need’ shoes. Even Yuca’s perception of ‘beauty’ is warped as she tried shaving her head to appeal to her alien family (which sadly ostracizes her more). 

Yuca’s feet are quite damaged, she does need to wear special shoes/soles whenever possible. Alpine, whom has been away on missions for the colony since Yautia’s death, finally sees the poor shape Yuca is in. Note, it’s not the icejins ‘fault’ in the colony--i just headcanon that they know very little about species other than themselves. Yuca’s damaged feet are the result of ignorance rather than maliciousness.....but obviously that doesn’t take away what has happened. After all this, Alpine pushes aside his grief and takes Yuca into space with him; introducing her to other mammalian based species so that she feels less alone~~
