Drowning// Sapphire Siebold
Sapphire was terrified.
She had run when she spotted Damian coming down the corridor towards her, just hauled off and sprinted as fast as she could. She was surprised at her automatic flight reaction, she had never tried to run, had known better before— and judging by the look on Damian’s face, he had been surprised too.
Not surprised enough to not give chase however.
This early in the morning there was no one roaming the halls, and Sapphire just kept herself moving forward, turning down corridors she had never seen, taking routes that she hoped she could lose him down. But judging by the footfalls closing in behind her, this wasn’t the case. She skittered to a stop when she realized she had reached a dead end— huh, she hadn’t known the Rocket base had a pool. She slowly turned, more than a little out of breath only to have Damian right behind her, shoving her up against the wall by her arm.
"Did you honestly think you could get away?" He sneers, twisting her arm backwards— her only reply is a small whine of pain, oh god oh god he’s gonna break it—! His anger is truly seeping through his normally calm and taunting facade, and with a quick movement of his wrist he snaps the limb back with a resounding crack. Her shriek of pain follows shortly after, and Sapphire has to wonder what he’s going to do now.
What follows can honestly take a place as one of the worst beatings she has ever received. Through the constant haze of pain she can hear his voice, mentions of "fucking little shit", and "Tainted little whore" bleeding through the haze her mind is in. After what feel like hours but could only be minutes, he hoists her up by her hair, her shirt being to ripped at this point to be of any use to hold her by. She felt the sting of a knife in her side, followed by the feeling of warm blood trickling past her waistband.
Her shirts around Damian had such a short shelf life, it was kid of sad actually.
She opened her eyes to see Damian give a cruel smirk, his voice smooth and much more controlled than before. “I’ve heard vessels of Kyogre can breathe underwater. But what about in chlorine? Let’s test the theory.” The next thing Sapphire knew she was underwater, the chlorine stinging her cuts, her lungs trying to work through the chemical-infused water and failing. She managed to break the surface once, trying to keep her head above water a trying task with a broken arm. After a moment she just let the water take her, watching with a morbid fascination as the water around her tinted red from her stab wound.
If she actually died by drowning she was going to punch someone in the afterlife so hard.
————
Damian dropped the girl in the pool, satisfied she wouldn’t be able to swim for the life of her with that broken arm. He didn’t have to worry about her dying here, he could hear someone making their way into the room, he was positive they would cover the task of fishing the bitch out.
He put his hat back on, hiding his face mostly from view before walking out, bumping into a taller male as he did. Damian muttered a low, “Sorry.” before continuing on, almost positive the man hadn’t seen his face. And even if he had, the most he would have seen was Damian’s wicked smile, the feeling of victory and superiority fueling his smirk.
Time to get back to the fungeon.
V-Day!
Visa Day!
So! I took the metro in to Dupont Circle, and walked to the address I had researched before, however, the building I went in was the wrong building. I went back along the road after receiving their directions in korean! yay! into another wrong building (the building where my class performed for Korean Culture Day).
ATTENTION y'all: the Korea embassy/consulate is NOT 2450 Mass Ave.
In fact, for a (D-2) student visa application:
1 - Go to 2320 Mass Ave. It's in the roundabout, and there's a statue of Philip Jaisohn (Seo Jae Pil) out front.
2 - Go in the building, on the left is the window for visas.
Make sure you have everything:
$45 cash, single and multiple entry is the same cost
Certificate for Admission, provided by Yonsei
Certificate of Business Registration, provided by Yonsei
Passport!!!
Copy of Passport!
1 color photo, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, no smiling, no teeth showing, hair brushed back from forehead/see whole face, no jewelry, no glasses (I took mine at Costco, $5 for 3 photos)
Bank Statement, (I also turned in my scholarship certificate)
Visa Application Form, filled out, found here (x)
***Note: Make sure you make a copy of everything! :) Also, I had my CISI Health Insurance certificate, but it turned out they didn't need it.
The consulate has a copier, two computers connected to a printer, and an ATM for you to use, if you need access to anything.
The guy at the window was nice and accommodating, and I should be picking up my passport/visa next week! :)))
Over and out! Any questions, send 'em my way :)
Kill Me [Are you still doing this? ;w;]
Imma kill you now.
[Trigger warning: Murder, killing, death]
listening to a song that makes me both sad and happy.
