I was listening to a Yacht Rock playlist over the weekend. Of course, a third of the songs were either by Michael McDonald or he was signing harmony on them. So I decided to sing the Michael McDonald harmony on all the songs he actually didn’t sing on. My cat, arbiter of good taste that he is, jumped on the desk and batted a paw at me.
