How do engines feel??

Like how do engines say ouch..

Also why did Thomas in that one episode not wake up fully until his boiler was warmed up? Do their boilers correlate with their awakeness? Also, if that is the case, how come they don't become tired when their boilers get doused when they roll into water like Duck in that one episode??

Also how do they feel the winter cold but not the ocean cold? Like, Victor was just... in the ocean for months/years and was.. fine with it (seemingly) but Donald/Douglass can't handle the cold without his boiler going?

ok but seeing doll coming back to life and snake possibly getting reanimated too... I don't think we realized how horrifying this is in context. that means even if you died, you can be brought back to life without your will. it's not the end of your plot line. legit, so many problems ciel "solved" was just killing people willy nilly, without considering other options because he didn't want to think about it, but now he's gonna have to think about it! because it doesnt matter anymore if you kill someone, or you get killed, some freak will build you back from ground up. you can't find relief in death anymore.

Here's a little update/question!

Basically the plan is to release the next chapter of Quest of a Lifetime in the next few weeks. At the very latest, the end of December. I've been working on it a lot, and I mean like... too much lmao, so I'm taking a few days to think over the rest of the plot/work on one more prompt.

And that's where my question comes to play:

These two are definitely the epitome of sweetness and purity when they’re together ehehe

about them being the endgame can be debatable, i mean, it’s the usual trope(at least in any shounen jump) there’s always going to be that girl love interest character who is obviously the endgame. We all know that. It’s Ochako. HOWEVER, BLESS HORIKOSHI. Because if you read the manga(not sure if the anime reached this part yet but for sure it’s happening in season 3), Ochako acknowledges her love for Deku BUT CHOOSES TO FOCUS ON BEING A HERO RATHER THAN PURSUE HER LOVE??? soooo i rly loved how Horikoshi handled that trope!

At Kourindou, everything was normal. It was quite as usual and not a single sole could be seen except for its proprietor that was checking their inventory at the moment.

This silence however would soon end as the front door slowly opened, causing the bells to chime as well as attract the merchant’s attention, quickly making them turn their head to the side at the very least to see whom it was.

Stepping inside his store was a grey haired girl wearing a gothic lolita outfit could be seen along with a purse to match.

What’s more, their bright red eyes glanced around the room, though instead of checking the items, he couldn’t help but feel as though they were looking for someone rather than something. This soon would be correct as the girl immediately walked towards the half-youkai, only stopping at a reasonable distance before going on to find themselves staring up at the other due to their height difference.

A smile would soon form in their lips as they gave a nod. As if coming to a conclusion before finally speaking.

“So you’re my uncle, huh? Mom always kept mentioning you whenever she went on to reminisce about her past before ever meeting dad.”

“Excuse me, but what...?”

Of course, anyone would find themselves baffled. This would be a normal response especially when the person is aware that they didn’t have any siblings nor friends, well, in the past anyway, but Rinnosuke definitely wasn’t going to admit this. Absolutely not!

This response only made the girl chuckle however. Well, she expected this at the very least, knowing full well how odd she sounded. Instead of giving the man a straight answer however, the girl instead gave them hints instead. However, these bits and pieces of information proved nothing. Making the girl show them something else instead.

Seconds later, legs begin to sprout out from the girl’s skirt. Revealing to the other that they were hardly human. Something Rinnosuke had already concluded given how calm they seemed to be.

“Now do you remember~?”

“Yeah, sorry, but that still doesn’t ring any bells.”

“OH, COME ON!”

Raising their voice, the other couldn’t help but stomp her foot on the floor as they pouted, finding how unbelievable this man was. Actually, was this even actually the guy? Yeah, it had to be them! She refused to believe that she mistook the man for someone else! I mean, how could she when the descriptions she was given almost all checked out?

With how things were, the girl immediately reached for her purse, rummaging through its contents only to pull out a photo at the hand, holding it up at the half-youkai’s face even as she urges the other to look in a rather annoyed tone. And in the photo, the girl could be seen, albeit a little younger than she is now as well as what he could only assume was her parents.

“Huh... you were a really cute kid back then.” 

“Thanks! Not to say that I’m not cute sti- LOOK AT MY MOM IN THE PICTURE, YOU IDIOT! MY MOM!”

Rinnosuke commented, however, she’d find the other’s tone being raised one again. Honestly... If she had just done this instead of making him play the guessing game, this drabble wouldn’t have had been this long.

With this, it took him a good minute, but in the end, he was able to recall the woman in the picture, causing his eyes to widened as they looked back at the girl infront of them.

“Wait! So you’re her child?! Well, that’s quite a surprise.” The man chuckled at the end. He honestly couldn’t believe it really, but the proof was right in front of him, two even. Comparing the photo even, she did resemble her mother abit, and it wasn’t because she had parts of a spider too.

“How’d you guess that I’d be in Gensoukyou, though? Ah! But why don’t you have a seat first and rest while I go and brew you some green tea?”
