some completely random headcanons for today:
☝️ keigo takami experiences selective mutism and has for his whole life. yes, this has gotten him into trouble in the past
☝️ izuku midoriya, katsuki bakugou, and shouto todoroki (possibly among others. pick your autistic favs ig) experience episodes of mutism related to autism (verbal shutdowns). these are infrequent, generally related to environmental stressors, and occasionally pushed through, but occur all the same
☝️ in the dabihawks dynamic, touya deals more with depression while keigo deals more with anxiety. somehow when compounded with all of their other issues this makes them just clingy enough to work together
☝️ shouto and touya todoroki are two of the most chronically online idiots among their peers. despite this, izuku is a far more impressive ragebaiter than either of them (though this skill is primarily used on katsuki. it’s funny to get him mad)
☝️ once they have resolved their issues with each other (via touya, mostly) himiko and keigo find they have many common interests (namely doing all sorts of “kid stuff” that they weren’t able to access in their childhoods. shouto is often included in these plans as well. toga benefits from both the keigo & shouto dynamic as well as the touya & katsuki dynamic)
☝️ in the iida/todo/baku/deku apartment there is a dry erase board counting “days since” the four of them have said/done their most annoying behaviors (these behaviors vary based on whatever is the most annoying thing to the others at any given point in time)
☝️ speaking of their apartment, iida keeps sticker charts for the other three with different line items based on whatever they need the most motivation/reward for (izuku needs the reminder to brush his teeth, shouto needs the reminder to sort his laundry, katsuki needs the reminder to ask for a hug every once in a while, etc. you get the gist)
☝️ when they first start sharing an apartment, ochako gives himiko her mattress and elects to sleep on the floor for a little while. this lasts approximately three days
☝️ all might has one of those foldable photo albums that go in your wallet. except his has photos of all the twenty-something children he adopted and when he opens it at the convenience store the whole thing unfolds like a spring and he has to spend five minutes trying to fold it back into his wallet (but not before showing the cashier each picture with a proud “this is my son/daughter [name] and they recently [insert details of their recent accomplishments” for every kid)
