Fun thing about being a "picky eater" is being repeatedly told "oh, you don't actually dislike this dish, you just haven't had it prepared properly!" when you've had it prepared 17 different ways, mostly due to people pressuring you to eat it, and strongly disliked them all because they all had the same central flaw that seems inherent to the dish because every version of the dish has it
