In the fem!cup breadmaking Viking AU, suppose Eret introduces the Berkians to pizza. What topics might Snotlout, Fishlegs and Ruffnut like?
Okay, so for those who aren’t privy to private skype conversations (i.e. everyone else), there was talk about our bread babies accidentally inventing pizza as Hiccup experiments with different dragon fires involved in baking bread. Cute right?
But then Eret has this brilliant idea. In his travels, years ago, he came across tomatoes. He insists that they’ll work perfectly with some of the new, strange breads they’ve made. He heads off to get some, promising it shouldn’t take too long. He’s on dragonback after all...though it is beyond the BA... and people don’t react well to dragons. There are some complications that could arise...
Not only that, poor Hiccup had gotten used to Eret in the kitchen all the time and starts to miss him... :’( (yeah, no one was more shocked than Hiccup for missing someone who wasn’t a dragon. You don’t realize how far someone worms their way into your heart until they’re gone)
Anyway, so they have pizza! Yay! And tomatoes and yak cheese and what have you. Onto toppings (not topics, right?)
Ruffnut: would first and foremost try and introduce ice cream as a topping. (”My invention with YOUR invention! It’s perfect!”
Snotlout: M E A T. Lets drizzle some stew on that pizza. Lets cut hunks of sheep leg for it. Lets leave neat and thinly sliced pig on it. Yum.
Fishlegs: Herbs. A medley of herbs. In particular combinations. (”A pince of this... yes that’s--no! Not that much! This is precise--*sigh*--let me do it”) ... which almost gets him kicked out of the kitchen. He would start with herbs and then move onto vegetables. A layer of lettuce. Maybe some sliced yams. He asks for one with ground up gravel for Meatlug as well.
