Sorry for the absence. Been busy, tired, and adjusting to having dropped YouTube cold-turkey. Still adore your writing. I'm trying to catch up on the latest chapters. Just wanted to remind you that your writing is still awesome!

ToBP!!! It's wonderful to hear from you! There are absolutely no apologies necessary. I do very much enjoy hearing from you, but I hope you know that there is never a single bit of expectation from over here. It sounds like life's been busy for you; it be like that sometimes.

Something I'm still trying to work on within fandom is acknowledging my own limits, too. Energy may be infinite, but mine is not. Sometimes I feel bad about how much contribution I am or am not making to this space. I used to read so much more fanfic and do ask games and things, and I'm just Not Here as much in this season of life. It's okay. It all ebbs and flows. I try to remind myself that as long as I'm not being an asshole, just making stuff for people is enough, even if I may or may not always have time to consume and support others. So even though I'm bad about internalizing this myself, hopefully you do. It's all fine and okay! You're doing great!

Also, the timing of this message couldn't have been better. It has been a really rough start to the school year, and this week in particular has been exceptionally difficult. A colleague of mine unexpectedly passed away, and my whole school is in mourning. His partner also works at the school, and I've taught their children. The first month of the school year is always hard, but man, this year it is just A Lot. So, it was especially nice to get a message like this to get me through Friday, so thanks.

All that said, catch up when life permits. The fic isn't going anywhere, and neither am I. <3

So to start we have...

Faulorn: The lover.

- How accidentally accurate for my lover boy here. He wears his heart on his sleeve and will do whatever he has to to keep his husband, his lover(s), his family, and his friends safe. Even if it ends up being to his detriment. The most important thing in this world, in his world, is love.

Eros: The monster

It was not your fault– at first, at least. You can not help being the way you are. Though, even if you could, would you choose to really change? They met you with torches raised and screaming mouths, the only choice you had was to flee. But you will not stay away forever. They whisper your name in fear, and you will make sure you hurt them just as much as they hurt you.

- I was not exactly expected this one for Eros, but... I think I can see that. He is full of pride, and he dosen't forget those who have wronged him. In a lot of ways he is a monster. Both literally and figuratively. He is a tifeling. The son of a demon. A monster in the eyes of many people. He's on the run from something... But is he running from people? Or is he running from his own demons? This mans past isn't know to anyone but himself, but he definitely isn't as innocent as he let's on... Let's hope the monsters, demons never catch up to him.

So, my DM keeps threatening to kill my character just because he likes threatening me. So I've created the best form of punishment should my character die.

I have created a Paladin with -2 intelligence. She's really dumb. But her charisma is super high. So she can seem intelligent to the point where everyone will follow whatever she says. And all of her ideas will be dumb ones but they will follow her anyway because she seems to know what she's doing.

She'd get them all killed, I'm sure of it. And I'll sit there laughing. She's Lawful Good, and means well, she just shouldn't be allowed to plan things. But everything will seem like such a good idea when she pitches it. HAHAHA!

I need to find a ridiculous name for her. . .Also, I feel like buying new dice because I had some really bad rolls while building her (-2 modifier? really? I had hoped to make another badass character like Duchess Catslove the bestest rogue ever, but that modifier on intelligence should lead to much shenanigans) and I feel like buying new dice would be good punishment to my current dice.

I may plan out my D&D characters too much. I should go back to knitting or buy a gaming system or something.
