Thinking about nations and their connection to time; if a nation can start to ‘see’ the future as they approach death and are more connected to nature and less connected to humans, I wonder if nations who almost got killed but not quite have seen it but them come back from it. 

For instance, if Feliks started getting visions of things before they happened; if he started feeling distant from his own body, if some days he just wanted to curl up under the earth. If that’s how he knew he was close to death and it scared the shit out of him.
