He was trying really hard to not give in to his rage. If she was as smart as he knew she was, then she’d take the hint and dial down the attitude.

Honestly, Sakura had wanted to laugh at Sarada’s indigence, seeing as it was for the cutest reason. Though it had taken her a little bit of time to work up the courage to admit she had a girlfriend, it had been a pleasant surprise after watching Sarada pass through the weeks in a bit of an infatuated fog. After all, when she was younger, the little Uchiha had always rambled about how pretty and nice the girls she liked were, still a little too young to understand what it meant. From there, it had matured into full-blown crushes Sakura admittedly like teasing her daughter about, but never maliciously. Mainly, it was tempting her with the idea of a double-date with Sakura going with Hinata, but she’d flatly turned down the notion in a blushing haze.
