From your own personal experiences, what are the best and worst parts of being a writer?

The best parts? Definitely being able to write your feelings down. I'm ADHD, meaning I feel things a lot deeper than some neurotypical people do, as such I find it hard to fully express what I'm feeling outwardly without the fear of being judged for being "overdramatic". But when I'm writing I can make it as gorey, sappy, expressive, or depressing as I want, and no one would bat an eye about it.

The worst parts? Having an awesome scenario in your head, but when you go to write it down you can't put into words that would express it's full glory.
