basic bitch answer but hummingbirds are my best friends and i have a million little feeders for them in my yard. i once found a hummingbird back there with an injured wing and nursed it back to health. i don't wanna be friends with any bugs tho, i'm not a bug girlie unless they're butterflies or ladybugs

Anyway, i wanted to cheer you up !! I went on a walk today ! I found lots of figues on the ground 😟 but the tree's branches were too high for me to pick some 😓 it was the same kind of figues that grew in my garden, in my childhood home. It brought me back!

I also found wild lavender ! It smelled amazing and there were a lot of bees and wildlife around it ! Which is good news !

i’m itching to try a new recipe soon but i haven’t found any that have caught my eye, though i might need to make lemon bars soon bc the summertime always has me craving something refreshing ANNND i just got a real food processor!!! i’ve only ever had a tiny little one that just pulses small amounts of food at a time and making any kind of graham cracker crust or chopping nuts would always take me ages bc i’d have to do it in batches. now i have a big kitchenaid one that will definitely make my life so much easier, so i’m really eager to use it soon.

it’s almost pie season so i should start looking into that 👀

i don't get comments or messages about that fic anymore, like EVER. it's eleven years old now, after all, but woooow this made my day 😭

i was really proud of that fic when i wrote it even though it makes me cringe so hard now. i love harry in that story so much too! i'm sorry about not publishing anything longer ever since. i was working on a long chaptered fic on-and-off from 2017-2021, but it's since been abandoned in my docs because i hit a writer's block like 150k words in and never really managed to get over that wall. i've thought about reworking it and editing it down a little (it was definitely overwritten), but i don't think the fic culture is what it used to be, at least not in that fandom.

i've entertained writing again, especially in the last few months, but it'd be for a different fandom and under a completely different ao3 account. i don't think i have the real stamina for a long fic and i also am really turned off by absolutely everything these days being read through an "is this AI?" lens, so it's not super motivating. thank you for this message though, it's really encouraging!
