I have neither read nor watched heated rivalry but I did write a short conversation crackfic on the premise of "what if instead of dating Rose after the Boston freakout Shane actually. You know. Talked to his best friend. And then Hayden Pike came up with the most absolutely bonkers solution on the planet to help Shane figure out whether it was Ilya or just needing to get laid and volunteers, genuinely 100% platonically, for the job. And then they talked about it like hockey because it's the only way they can take it seriously for long enough to have the conversation"
So anyway if I posted it would anyone read it because I think it's hilarious
