I think that after Percival and Queenie tell Abby that she might be getting a baby sibling (because of their past issues they didn’t want to say anything was certain), She gets Abby to help her make some cupcakes. While the cupcakes are in the oven, she tells Abby that the frosting they’re making is going to tell her if she’s getting a brother or a sister (because i bet there’s spells to tell things like that) and that they’re going to surprise Daddy with it. So she guides Abby to mix the frosting, letting magic take over when it’s took thick for little Abby’s arms to continue. And then holds the coloring in her hand to drop in. And it turns blue. And that’s how Abby learns that she’s getting her little brother.
