YEESH finally went back to playing FE3H (I never finished Silver Snow route) and I'm currently midway through my first story battle since I came back and getting a trial by fucking fire of getting reminded what Maddening difficulty is like... (I did all my prev playthroughs on Hard) I've had like 4 restarts but I've gotten past the really difficult stages of chapter 18 finally, my GOD that difficulty sure can maddening

a constructive criticism. that’s all this is. i didn’t anticipate this fic will go here. it was so fresh when it started, this turn it took, i feel like I’ve read a bunch of evak fics with this exact plot turn were an older guy manipulates isak. it doesn’t have to be this painful. Or, may be i am just not equipped to read stuff like this.

1.) I've never read an evak fic so I won't address that part

2.) It's a thing that happens in real life-- in this universe, Lucas got the short end of the stick meeting the wrong person at the wrong time, at the wrong place

3.) I'm sorry if you're not made to read this stuff and that is completely fine! But I don't believe in long chaptered stories with absolutely no conflict or characters with no substanced backstory and I know I didn't pick an easy topic to touch on here for personal reasons

5.) Finally!! We are in Lucas' head folks, you'll soon find that the situation isn't as dark and hopeless as he thinks
