Ok so for anyone who didn't know/actually cares, I've been really sick the last couple weeks, &my dad took me in to the hospital. When I got home, I reiterated how much I hate hospitals. Also, they found out what's wrong &stuff. So basically, I had a cold two weeks ago. It gradually changed into what I thought was a stomach flu, but then it just coupled itself with this wicked abdominal pain, &I haven't been able to eat without throwing up for the last 6 or so days. Last night, I passed out on the couch around 6 pm, &I woke up just before 21, &my dad asked me to try to eat some rice. I couldn't do it, so he's like, "this has gone on long enough, I'm taking you into emergency." Hospitals generally gross me out, &I hate sitting in the rooms with weird people, on chairs people could have sneezed on. They took me in right away -- into the pediatric unit, cause that was the only place they had space. The nurse started putting me on an IV, &I started freaking out, cause I hate needles. I then proceeded to have the worst anxiety attack I've had in a long time. While it happened, my dad basically told me it wasn't a big deal -- stop shaking, etc. So I managed to calm down, just in time for another nurse to come take a blood sample!! Pretty much the same thing happened. So I was just bitter about everything - especially the eight year old next to me who snored like a bear - for the next three hours, until all my results came back. So basically, I have infections in a couple of places, &that's what's been making me so sick. I'm on antibiotics now, &it should be cleared up by Tuesday/Wednesday.
