@dragontrainerdaenerys OOOOOOO LUIZA!!! i’m so happy that you mentioned how certain concepts have aged bc even though i don’t read rinne, from the bits i’ve seen of it, it looks like Rumiko Takahashi is still including THE trope most of us can’t STAND: the love triangle. though, it’s more of a nonagon in her case and she’s so adamant on including it in every single one of her series even though like you said, as a society, we definitely sort of know better and YES, i’m praying that whoever’s managing the stage play takes some liberties in changing it up bc kagome and kikyo and their relationship deserved better than what the original series presented. they shared the same soul and in 550+ chapters/almost 200 episodes, they had how many interactions? how many times did they have a conversation that had nothing to do with in*yasha? :/
