#ALSIcebucketchallenge
Thank god I'm not popular enough to have people wanting me to pour a bucket of ice cold water on myself You people probably all know about the alsicebucketchallenge and what it is about and you probably can't see another person pouring water on their head. And I can understand that this is just my opinion to this topic because I have my issues with it. First of all I want to say that this is very good to draw attention to a very serious disease that still doesn't have a cure. ALS is a disease that degenerates the muscles so imagine being trapped in your own body but not al of a sudden like people who get paralyzed but slowly and then it's every muscle until you suffocate because the muscles in your lungs stop working. But since we live in a society filled with narcissism and idiots most people use it to promote themselves. Some may have good intents and it may be funny but just because people out there might think you're a cool person and so down to earth. And please girls stay classy. Why do you bother pouring ice cold water on yourselves when you just want guys to see your your breasts. There are easier ways. And I hate how everybody who is not famous and ergo forced to donate a lot of money saying "you have 24 hours and if you don't do it you have to donate". Donating money is something you do voluntarily if you have to pay it it's called tax. You people are treating this act as some kind of punishment which it isn't. And call me whatever you like but I think there is stuff going on that deserves at least twice the attention. Why is mark Zuckerberg not pouring water on his head for the kids who are dying in Gaza? What is it that makes ALS more important than Palestine, than Iraq, than Syria, than Ukraine, than the kids dying all over the world? Why do people have such a short attention span? A disease like ALS is not caused because a bomb was dropped on your house. And you sure won't be diagnosed with ALS because a sniper shot you in the head. ALS is a given by a higher power. A child in Gaza losing its legs is caused by humans. I have been raised to not waste food or water. I hate myself whenever I throw a spoiled apple in the trash. So when I see people wasting a whole bucket of portable water I want to go on a killing spree. Not so fun fact: ebola is spreading mostly because the already rare water is full with many diseases. So pouring water on yourself just for fun might be the most douchy thing you could do. So what I'm trying to say is that it's good to draw attention to certain diseases but there is much more going on in the world and it seems that everyone is just closing their eyes to it because it's not fun
