Hi, hello! I'm rather new here, but I already adore Abirt! They're (is that the correct pronoun? I know she's genderfluid, but I don't know what her pronouns are,,,) one of my favourite rewrites, but there's so much about him in your blog that I'm having a little difficulty gathering all the infos,,,
Could you please make a brief recap of her lore? I'd really appreciate it!
YES OMG. I tried making it brief, but Abirt has 500 years worth of lore and I really like yapping so uh. This maybe a bit long!
I do have a Google document on the Kravitz family in general that goes into detail on Abirt's lore as well as his family so if you're interested in reading that, feel free to let me know and I'll link it! Some information in it might be outdated tho since it's been a few months I revisited the document.
Abirt Kravitz was born the second child to Adam and Evelyn Kravitz a couple centuries ago. Her older brother is Mikhail Kravitz (O5-6) and her younger siblings are Terach (SCP-590), Tzipora Kravitz and "Sarah" (SCP-321).
They're cursed with immortality by being binded to SCP-963 which is a piece of amber that creates resin and amber that heals and replaces any wounds he gets. It can recreate any missing body parts, but it can also attach any given to him by acting as a glue that closes the wound and slowly becomes flesh. It's also preserving his body so it ages slower until it eventually stops aging. Scp-963 itself has it's own lore but that's another story! A TL;DR of it is that it's said to be a teardrop of the God of Eternity after she realizes that everything in the world will end except for her, and the tear, being apart of her, grants it's users the same curse/blessing.
Because of SCP-963, Abirt has a lot of mobility issues since sometimes the Amber hardens and freezes xer limbs. So xe use a lot of types of mobility aids. Mostly canes, but on particularly bad days xe may need even a wheelchair.
He never really chose to work in the Foundation, wanting to distant himself from the family so before he gained immortality he was a history professor for a university. He was taken into Foundation custody after he was killed by Chaos Insurgency agents (he was offered to join them but he rejected the idea and they killed him). Foundation found his corpse while it was in a state of regeneration where the resin was doing the work reattaching and healing his body. He was kept as an SCP at first until post Foundation Civil War where staff numbers were dwindling. Due to his family and personal background, he was offered to work at the Foundation. Dude eventually climbed up to personnel director, and then eventually as an O5 after a bit of "help" by Gears
Currently, Abirt is O5-7 with the codename "The Eternal". He mainly oversees Personnel Directing on a higher level (like site-directors, key personnel, agents), Foundation Personnel's housing system and living spaces, as well as a minor hand in the Foundation Education System. There is some lore surrounding the O5-7 seat with it having heavy ties to divinity since all previous and current Overseers for 7 had at least some sort of relationship and ties with Gods.
Outside of Foundation work, he occasionally lectures at Universities about History and Archaeology as his hobby and cover.
Abirt had 5 lovers in total with each changing him entirely as a person. Cordelia Siegel (Gears' sister), Leah Courteney, Odren Blime, Agent Lockehart and Dr Simon Glass. He had 3 kids with Cordelia (Nathanel, Lyrr, Resalia) and 1 with Leah (Isaiah). Currently, he's with Glass and they're "raising" Atticus (who is a whole can of worms relating to Lyrr).
At the moment, Abirt's hiding Atticus real identity (if you can even call it that) from the Foundation using xer power as an Overseer. Xe forged an identity and documents saying xe and Simon adopted Atticus but is raising them privately. O5-1/Gears knows what up about them (one look at Atticus and he knew that is his sister's child) and is passively helping the Kravitz-Glass household.
