Alta-Vista --> kimboosan
Alta-Vista was a name I chose for this tumblr because I did not really know what I was doing with it, and it is a name that harks back to the last home I really had, which was on a street named "High View Rd."
Mother and I always joked about naming our plain suburban house "Alta Vista" like some romantic mansion. Delusions of grandeur, indeed! Then my parents died and I lost the house and, well, Alta-Vista came to mean something else.
In trying to settle accounts for things I've done indirectly for years now, I'm letting go of some things I have clung to out of fear that by doing so, I would forever lose a part of myself.
But this is me, sorry, it's just me. There is no elevated perspective.
I'm just kimboosan.

I clearly label everything everything I post with what culture it's from. The point of the blog is to celebrate and learn about other culture, and you don't need a super duper education to know that. Ignorance is no excuse.
