Pierce Guitar Tutorial/Cover Video
I finished the Tutorial/Cover video! I'm so sorry it took so long. It's my first time making a tutorial so I'm going to apologize now that I used so much "Umms" and "Ands" but lucky for you guys you can here me in my Kiwi accent. The video is in english and I hope you enjoy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEdaaJHnJYg
The guitar chords are in the description box on the page so you'll be able to find it. Ask me questions if you still don't get it. I'm going to bed, night night~ Oyasumi OORers.
Me just ranting about OOR and other stuff
Today was such a roller coaster today in a good way.
I overly got hyper because of ONE OK ROCK and I was telling my friend about their new album and was so tempted to spoil it. But I didn't and I'm definitely getting the limited edition with ONE OK ROCK being them and doing acoustic covers.
ONE OK ROCK just helps me make people think I'm just a little bit more crazier than how crazy I was already but it's alright. They are what inspires me to keep trying to make new lyrics and songs and release all that's in my mind. So I don't really mind if they think I'm some sort of otaku with my J-rock and stuff. I love what I love.
In actual fact ONE OK ROCK is what pushed me to try things towards my goal like translating especially these past few months. I've been aiming to translate for more than 4 years and at the age of sixteen I was able to give you guys a translation for our recent viewing of OOR U-stream. I'm now also trying to do subs with help from online friends and they are like Kazoku. That was a dream that I accomplished on my own and I felt so great when I finished it and I was so excited to share it with you guys. I'm so glad it was my first project.
After the U-stream translations I feel like I've been able to interact with a lot more of you and I hope I can continue to make connections with fellow fans of J-rock, Japanese Culture, Music and anything related. I feel proud of my Kazoku and ONE OK ROCKERS. (I feel teary now...)
Anyhow in short I hope to keep making new connections and strengthen connections between our kazoku, one ok rockers, supporters etc through my translations in videos. (possibly magazine scanalations etc. if a miracle occurs.) Just like how ONE OK ROCK continues to keep the connections with us through their music.
altair146 replied to your post: my eyelid has been trembling for 5 days now...
It could be from overusing the computer or any digital device. That’s what the usual cause is for me when my eyelid is trembling. :D
Hm that might be the case. or maybe because I'm studying too much lately ,too? both of these are pretty tiring for the eyes.. ugh I hope it's nothing serious -.-'
Pierce ONE OK ROCK Guitar Chords
Hi everyone~ Here is another ONE OK ROCK song with guitar chords. This was requested by undyinglands a few weeks ago. Hope you enjoy~
P.S. I am taking in requests for other songs but there is a possibility that it will not be posted as fast and regularly as you would like as I'm starting school soon and am doing lots of translating and subtitling projects including the ONE OK ROCK U-stream subtitle project that I am attempting.
Pierce - ONE OK ROCK

Ok I have finished. If you don't understand anything or have any questions please message me. This took me a week but I am glad I was able to finish. The late nights payed off!! Well all there is to do is to enjoy my translations. I'll take a few days off and think about what to do for the subtitle video for this. Hope this makes your day~ Love you guys. :)
TAKA: Thank you~ it’s ONE OK ROCK.
EVERYONE: YAY Woo~!
Tomoya: Happy New Year!
Ryota: Happy New Year!
Toru: Happy New Year!
Taka: It’s been a while and we’ve started the broadcast. This is the fifth U-stream Broadcast we have done.
Ryota & Tomoya: Yeah!
Taka: The day after tomorrow, 9th of January is the release date for our double-sided A single Deeper Deeper/Nothing Helps and this is our release anniversary project. From now us, ONE OK ROCK would like to do a fun broadcast for an hour with our listeners and watchers. This script/report, well we only just read it 15 minutes ago. It’s probably one of the most out of it U-stream Broadcast because of New Years. This time for this U-stream broadcast Tomoya and Ryota went to a location.
Tomoya: Yes, yes yes.
Ryota: Yes, we went.
Taka: Me and Toru know absolutely nothing about this.
Toru: Where did you guys go?
Tomoya: We went to a really cool place. When you watch it you will definitely want to go, so watch out.
Taka: We would like to continue to have fun in this broadcast with our listeners and watchers. Also at the end of the broadcast the full version of the music video for Deeper deeper will be on wear, on-air for the first time.
Toru: On air.
Ryota: On air.
(Taka messed up the pronunciation of on-air and the other’s trying to correct his pronunciation.)
Taka: By all means please look forward to the music video. On YouTube they probably have the short version streaming already.
Toru: Today’s the first time with the full.
Taka: You can only watch the full version on here. Lots of people have tweeted.
Ryota: A lot of tweets have already come in. Someone said “He’s (Tomoya) wrapping himself with paper again”.
Tomoya: I am wrapping!
Toru: We are reading everyone’s comments.
Taka: The programme #tag we have this time is one ok rock and if you tweet there. We can receive the tweets through the #tag through the ipad and computer and the receipt like thing wrapped around Tomoya. I wonder if you can see it? We hope to continue by checking the tweets throughout the programme. This definitely the best part of the programme and we can enjoy the broadcast with our listeners and watchers. You can tweet anything that won’t ruin our mood.
Toru: Send us anything.
Taka: If you send us anything that will ruin our mood we will immediately quit the broadcast. (Laughs)
Toru: We will suspend it.
Taka: We will immediately finish this. We usually don’t like to use these sorts of digital devices. We’re those types of people. So please keep the comments to a minimum so that they don’t ruin our mood. Otherwise anything’s ok. Please take care of us. Without any delay we shall start reading the tweets. This time we would like to take a roll call for the people watching.
Tomoya: Yes.
Taka: Basically what we want to know is where you are watching from like what prefecture, city or possibly country you’re from. So from now we would like you to tweet us what place you are watching from “Like I’m watching from blabla” so that this will be like a practice to us and we can confirm where you’re watching from. So please tweet us now.
Tomoya: It’s already come, it’s already come!
Toru: Oi!
Tomoya: Okinawa, Kanagawa, it’s fast it’s fast. Shizuoka, Saitama, Miyagi. Everyone’s too fast!! What is this speed!?
Ryota: Wait wait.
Tomoya: No no, this is yabai. Look at this, Look at this.
Ryota: Fast! This is too fast!
Taka: You can’t even see it.
Tomoya: This is experimenting word power too much (?)
Ryota: What is this…
Tomoya: Wait, Kanagawa. There was a tweets saying Australia before, I saw it properly.
Taka: That means a person from Australia can understand what we are saying right? They must be Japanese then.
Ryota: Just wait, over here as well.
Taka: We don’t know what’s going on over here.
Toru: It’s amazing
Taka: They suddenly tweet so it’s hard to see. There was a tweet saying they were watching from Cinderella’s castle.
Ryota: True.
Taka: Like from Disneyland (laughs) Niigata.
Tomoya: There was a tweet saying someone was watching from Singapore.
Taka: There was one from Singapore?
Toru: There’s also a tweet from Korea.
Taka: Really.
Tomoya: Aomori, there was also Tsugunami-ku.
Taka: We haven’t shown ourselves since our live or tour right. Like our normal appearance, our talking appearance, and all of us talking together. Like when was the last time?
Toru: We haven’t done radio broadcasts for a while as well.
Ryota: True.
Toru: It’s been a while.
Taka: Well today we would like to keep going with this pace. Everyone please look after us until the end.
Everyone: Look after us.
Taka: Ok, so this is us. It’s almost the day after tomorrow isn’t it?
Toru: The day after tomorrow.
Taka: January the 9th, Wednesday is our release date for a double-sided A single “Deeper Deeper/Nothing Helps”. It will be released~!!
Tomoya: I’m so happy.
Ryota: I’m happy.
Taka: When was the last time we released a single?
Toru: It’s come, I think the last time was “The Beginning”.
Taka: When was “The beginning” released?
Tomoya: Last years…
Toru: Last year around September I think.
Ryota: August.
Tomoya: Yea August.
Taka: How many months has it been?
Tomoya: September, October, November, December, January.
Taka: Five months.
Toru: Five months.
Taka: Five months is actually fast right?
Toru: We haven’t released much last year, I guess.
Taka: Yea, true. We had the tour as well.
Tomoya and Toru: Yea.
Tomoya: We did a lot of tours.
Taka: But we’ve been making a lot of songs regardless of that. And we’re also doing recording right now. But we’ve mainly taken a break since New Year’s. We haven’t started recording this year because of various things. So for us today is the first work of the year in a sense.
Tomoya: Yeah.
Toru: Yeah.
Taka: Yeah.
Toru: Yeah!
Taka: We’ve been making songs and yeah. We would like to know what our recent single is like by getting an explanation. What is it like?
Tomoya: This time, well. This is our second song … that we’ve made.
Taka: Yea that you guys made. Yea, this time the song Deeper Deeper is the song that Ryota and Tomoya made.
Tomoya: Yeah, this song is a song that me and Ryota made. In the beginning in the studio we stuffed ourselves in there and we did quite a lot right?
Ryota: We did quite a lot right?
Tomoya: And then we were like gyaaa and then we were able to make the base of the song quite quickly right?
Ryota: Yeah we were able to make the base of the song quite quickly but from that point it got harder.
Taka: The work to pack it together is always hard right.
Ryota: We can get the base for the song quite easily but going from there to doing … little details with everyone is a bit complicated for us ‘cause we can’t do that yet.
Tomoya: That is truly a gift that everyone has to …. Make inside of themselves. (?? Couldn’t really hear Tomoya too well.)
Taka: Well yea that’s true. But this time the mix engineer called John Feldmann who produced “The Used” helped us develop our music with their own essence in their own way. Everyone hasn’t listened to all of it so they probably can’t say much about it but it sounds new (style-wise). Did you see the short version, on YouTube yet?
Toru and Tomoya: Yea we watched it, we watched it.
Taka: How was it? Like how did it feel that your song was turned into a music video and you were able to watch the short version of the music video to your song and that most people were already watching that video.
Tomoya: Well firstly we never thought that this song would be a single when we were making it.
Taka: That’s true.
Ryota: We thought that would never happen.
Tomoya: We never would have thought that a big trap came with this (??)
Ryota: The two of us were so surprised!
Taka: For the two gambling enthusiasts it is definitely a big trap. (??)
Ryota: ‘Cause like we made the song normally while assuming that it would be used for the album. That is our first single!
Tomoya: And that was transformed into a video so we were honestly happy.
Taka: And the music video was made in a different style too.
Tomoya: It was so cool!
Taka: A lot of things have changed.
Toru: In different ways.
Taka: Yes, in different ways. From before Ryota you’ve just been replying “That’s right” to everything that Tomoya’s been saying but what about you?
Ryota: The new year mood is still intense.
Taka: No no no, let’s put it back.
Tomoya: You should put it back to work mode little by little.
Ryota: Yeah true.
Taka: Tomoya just pulled out his wisdom tooth before.
Tomoya: Yeah, I’m already really really tired.
Toru: He tried too hard in speaking that he got anemia before.
Tomoya: Yea I got anemia and I couldn’t stop bleeding that when I spat it was all bright red. What should I do?
Taka: He failed (laughs) (Taka said to Tomoya “subetta” meaning he failed his joke.)
Tomoya: Oi, I didn’t fail!
Toru: When this guy was trying to stand up, he was like “Ah! It’s getting dizzy.” And then he put his head on my lap and used it as a pillow. I was like what the heck is he doing.
Ryota: You’re failing too, Toru.
Toru: Shut up! Back me up man!
Tomoya: He hasn’t got enough back up yet.
Taka: How many days has it been since the last time we met up? Has it been four or three days?
Toru: No, we haven’t met up for more than that.
Tomoya: Taka was always doing vocal recording.
Taka: Usually vocal recording is last for me.
Toru: Yeah true, basically for recording there are people who can do it in one go and others who have it to do it a few times, it’s always different for everyone.
Taka: Yeah but I was thinking when everyone is recording I go right?
Tomoya and Toru: Yeah
Taka: I don’t mind if you don’t come when I’m recording but could you guys stop coming at the same timing as when I eat?
Ryota: I came though.
Taka: I don’t understand the meaning of it.
Tomoya: Taka, you are the type of person who goes into quite a stoic mode when recording. You want to do it in one go. And we don’t want to disturb your mood when recording ‘cause we think that would be bad.
Taka: But like why do you have to come after that at the same timing as when I eat?
Ryota: Last time Toru was mean right?
Taka: Yeah, Toru was mean.
Tomoya: He was mean. That was the worst!
Toru: No that day I wasn’t in the mood to go but I got a call asking “Would you like to go for a meal?”
Taka: No, I didn’t say it like that. I didn’t say “Would you like to go” right?
Toru: Well it was like “I’m going to for a meal with everyone but”.
Taka: Well lastly yeah but you guys are all in general really.
Tomoya: I came a bit before that meal and stayed for a while.
Ryota: I went like two hours before.
Toru: Doesn’t make a difference.
Taka: From my point of you I have a normal time that I finish recording by the end of the year and I thought by this time I want to finish the song, I want to finish the vocals for this song. I cleared it with my normal time that day. So for that occasion that I passed my goal time I had always talked about going to eat Yakiniku with the staff.
Toru: Then it should be alright for the staff and the members.
Taka: No no no
Tomoya: We want to celebrate too.
Toru: That’s right
Ryota: That’s right
Taka: It’s ok if you’re coming every time at the beginning but coming with a good timing when it’s just Yakiniku. For Toru who doesn’t come to the studio it’s terrible.
Toru: The thing was I came straight away. That was the thing, huh. I didn’t understand that.
Taka: And why do I always have to treat you to a meal.
Tomoya: Even though he’s the one who’s supposed to get drunk.
Taka: I really don’t understand it, I really don’t understand him.
Ryota: Yeah, we should go more often.
Toru: Shall we go more often?
Ryota: Yeah we should.
Taka: That’s the last time we saw each other.
Tomoya: Yeah, must be.
Taka: It’s rare how we haven’t seen each other this long. So today while communicating with each other let’s keep going on.
Toru: ‘Cause we’re still a bit off. (A bit off meaning “Zureteru”)
Taka: Yeah, We’re still a bit off.
Tomoya: You’re tuning isn’t in sync yet.
Taka: We probably have a lot more to say but for now we will move on as this time we have a video right?
Ryota: Yes yes yes.
Taka: You went to a location right?
Tomoya: Yes yes yes.
Taka: That video, can we play it?
Toru: Are we going to play it already?
Taka: Is it too fast?
Toru: Are we going already?
Taka: They’re saying it’s alright to go ahead.
Tomoya: Ok? Ok so for our special anniversary project we went to a certain location and here is the video for everyone to watch.
Ryota: Yes
Taka: Yes
Toru: Wonder where it is.
Tomoya: Here it is!
Ryota: Here it is!
The title says ONE OK ROCK Emergency Project
Ryota: Good Morning
(Taka: Just wait Ryota you’re wearing the same outfit as today.
Ryota: I’m the same as today.
Taka and Toru: What are you doing?!
Ryota: I’m the same as today. Laughs
Toru: Get changed!)
Ryota and Tomoya: 2013 the new year, happy New Year.
(Taka: You’re all the same as today.)
Ryota: Well today because it’s the year of the snake we have come to snake land to…
(Tomoya: What’s up with your hair?
Taka: So you went to a snake land.)
Tomoya: Celebrate our release and pray for a hit for our single Deeper Deeper/Nothing Helps
Tomoya and Ryota: At Japan Snake Centre.
(Toru: The name’s too cool. You must have woken up quite early right?
Tomoya: I woke up pretty early for this. Also it was casually raining quite a lot.)
(The place name is Japan Snake Centre, Gunma Prefecture Ota City Yabuzuka Street 3318 or in romaji Gunma-ken Ota-shi Yabuzuka-Chou 3318. By the way Gunma is in the Kantou area near Tokyo and Saitama for those of you who want to go next time when you go to Japan.)
Tomoya: We have come, now Ryota where are we right now?
Ryota: We are in Gunma Prefecture.
(Taka: You went all the way to Gunma Prefecture.)
Ryota: To the world of snakes.
Tomoya: We have come to the world of snakes.
Ryota: Yes.
Staff: Where’s Taka and Toru!?
Tomoya: Who made the single this time!?
Ryota: Us!!
Tomoya: Us right!?
Ryota: Yeah
Tomoya: So we’re going to pray for the hit.
Ryota: Yes we are.
Tomoya: So just for the year of the snake we have come to snake land to pray for a hit. Since we have come here I was thinking we could study about snakes at the snake center.
Ryota: Makes sense. For now?
Tomoya: For now. Shall we go then?
Ryota: Let’s go then shall we. We’re going to the world of snakes.
(Taka: You go normally?!
Ryota: It’s a jump right?)
Tomoya: So Ryota we have finally come.
Ryota: The thing I’ve been excited about.
Tomoya: You’re favourite.
Ryota: My favourite.
Tomoya: Time for snakes.
Ryota: Yes
Tomoya: You hardly know anything about snakes right?
Ryota: I hardly know anything.
Tomoya: I know nothing either. But you want to know more right?
Ryota: Yeah
Tomoya: So I have called in a snake specialist.
Ryota: Yes
Tomoya: I will introduce you to him now. This is snake centre’s Sakai-san.
(Taka: Sakai-san, Sakai-san.
Tomoya: What is it?
Taka: Sakai-san has a big nose!)
(Sakai-san’s info: Japan Snake Centre, Foundation Member of The Japanese Snake Family Scientific Research Establishment, Senior Staff Researcher Member, Chief Representative Sakai Jun san (I think that’s how you read his first name??))
Tomoya: So you know everything about snakes?
Sakai: Yes.. well …. I have a degree of knowledge.
Tomoya: We hope to ask you many questions, please look after us.
Let’s start learning about snakes.
(Taka: So this person is part of the snake land.
Tomoya: Yeah he’s a specialist.
Taka: hee~)
Ryota: Wait what?!
Texas Rat Snake
Origin: America from Texas to Mississippi
Length: 160 ~ 180cm Maximum is 218cm for a non-poisonous snake
They live on dried up areas and eat things like Rat, Birds and Frogs.
Tomoya: Already there is a white snake, what is this snake called?
Sakai: Including Japan’s Aodaishou, (Japanese Rat Snake) it is a snake that often eats rats which gives the name “rat snake”.
Tomoya and Ryota: They eat rats.
Tomoya: So that’s why their called Nezumi Hebi (Rat Snakes).
Ryota: Even though they have tiny as mouths they can eat rats.
Sakai: Well there are small rats…
<< Studying of Snakes Part 1>> Small Snakes eat small rats.
(Tomoya: He has a sense for retorting. (tsukkomi)
Ryota: Whoa~! This guy is...
Tomoya: Whoa~!
Ryota: This looks like a dangerous snake.
Shinrin Cobra (Forest Snake)
Origin: West of America to the centre and parts of south-east America
Length: 140~220cm Maximum Large sized cobras can reach over 270cm
As the name states it lives forests and woods
Sakai: Yes, well this guy is one of the dangerous ones.
Tomoya: Are the snakes here the types of ones where if you get bitten once you will die?
Sakai: Well we have some snakes that you can die from by being bitten but we do have ones that aren’t like that as well.
(Taka: Nimble! (Karru!))
Tomoya: By the way has Sakai-san been bitten before…
Sakai: Well you could say that…
<< Studying of Snake Part 2>> You could say that… Sakai-san has been bitten by a poisonous snake...
(Taka: You could say that. What’s next?)
Tomoya: Uuuuwah! Uuuuwah!
Boom Slang
Origin: South of the Sahara Desert in Africa
A rare serum making poisonous snake that’s from the Colubridae (a nonvenomous family of snakes) they live in trees and their movement is very fast as well as their poison that is extremely strong and very dangerous.
Ryota: All of them look the same. It moved!! It moved!!
Tomoya: Even the colour looks like a dangerous colour.
Sakai: Well the colour doesn’t really matter…
<<Studying of Snake Part 3>> There is no connection between the danger level and the colour of the snake
(Taka: Wait, Sakai-san is so nasty. (If nasty is used by anyone it means Yabai.)
Tomoya: He’s really funny.
Taka: Sakai-san is funnier than this probably.)
Tomoya: Hyappoda
Hyappoda (English names found on wiki: Sharp-nosed Viper, Snorkel Viper, Hundred Pacer and Chinese Moccasin)
Origin: Taiwan, South part of China and The north part of Vietnam
Length: A poison snake that is 80 ~ 120cm In Chinese characters it is written as “Hundred Walk Snake” It eats different types of vertebral animals on the surface of water.
Ryota: I think we might be able to see the face more clearly this time.
(Taka: Waah~ It’s from Taiwan, South of China and Vietnam.)
Ryota: I want to see it standing like a cobra but...
Tomoya: Snakes are nocturnal.
Sakai: This (Hyappoda) doesn’t stand.
Ryota: So even if we wait all day it won’t stand.
<< Studying of Snake Part 4>> Even if we wait the Hyappoda will not stand
(Taka: It’s so funny.)
Ryota: Eh! If you get bitten you will die after 100 steps.
Tomoya: Hundred Walk Snake (Hya ppo da)
Ryota: So really if you get bitten by this it will be the end!?
Sakai: No, well… it will get really bad but there are serums now so if you go to the hospital immediately you should be fine.
<< Studying of Snake Part 5>> In the present even if you get bitten by a Hyappoda we have serums now so you won’t die within 100 steps
(Taka: You have to go immediately but you’re over after 100 steps right? This is bad.)
Ryota: It’s pretty scary, huh. We have to study properly like this just in case we meet one in the future.
Tomoya: Ah!! Like this is a poison snake!!
Ryota: True.
Tomoya: You really understand!! If you study this sort of stuff beforehand.
Ryota: Waah. People who don’t come to the snake centre are in danger.
Tomoya: Everyone you should come to this place at least once.
After that we observed many types of snakes…
Ryota: Just wait that looks so scary! It’s really moving!
(Taka: What is this?
Tomoya: Snakes Skin
Taka: It’s really big. Waah! Eh! What is this!?)
And…
(Taka: Sakai-san is, Sakai-san is!! What is Sakai-san doing!?)
Tomoya: Do you know what we are doing!? Sakai-san is going to catch the snake and take the poison out.
Ryota: Isn’t it dangerous!?
(Taka: Where are they doing it?)
Tomoya and Ryota: Whoa~! Ah!
Tomoya: Sakai-san this is a poisonous snake right!?
Sakai: This is a habu.
(Taka: Habu!? Habu is dangerous right.
Tomoya: It’s dangerous, really dangerous.
Taka: What is he doing? Sakai-san? Sakai-san!)
Tomoya and Ryota: Whoa~!
(Taka: What is he doing!?)
Ryota: This is slightly scary. He’s really mad.
Tomoya: Sakai-san he’s really mad isn’t he!?
Sakai-san: He’s always angry …
Ryota: That’s amazing.
As the studying of snakes has finished we are finally going to pray for a hit …
(Taka: Do they have this sort of stuff at the snake land?
Ryota: It was really huge. There were hardly any people so it was alright.)
Ryota: Huge!!
Tomoya: It’s unexpectedly huge!!
(Don’t know what it’s specifically called in English but it’s supposed to mean “Observer of the White Snake sounds (cries) of the world.) Kannon is generally a Buddhist usually of a female who observes sounds or cries of the world.)
Tomoya: We learnt about snakes so you understand snakes now!?
Ryota: I learnt a lot!! Actually I had a lot of fun!! I had too much fun it’s getting nasty!! My spirits are so high!! What should I do?
Tomoya: We should do a serious prayer for a hit here…
Ryota: Wait, but look … Her breast are big!! First when we were going here together you were so scared and you said it’s impossible. But in the end you were really content with it and you came to love snakes. Just with that I’m really happy that we came here.
Tomoya: I understand them.
Ryota: Yeah, you understood them.
Tomoya: Shall we pray now? Yossha~
Ryota: Yossha~
Tomoya: I hope the song becomes a hit…
(Taka: You came for this right.)
Ryota: I hope that the song we made will become a hit…
Tomoya: What did you say to pray for the hit!?
Ryota: Eh? Me? That’s obvious right, for the song to get a hit… Besides that what else is their!?
Tomoya: Yea, that’s true!! I thought maybe you might wish for something weird…
Ryota: Eh? For my knee to heal. For my nose to heal.
Tomoya: All about himself… That’s not true right?
Ryota: What did you wish for!?
Tomoya: This year… I hope to tsumo ten times with a high play.
(Tsumo means to win without taking anybody’s tile in Mah-Jong. Tomoya the gambler enthusiast ahh)
Tomoya: Yes
Taka: Unemotional! Unemotional! Unemotional! (Taka said Nurui meaning half-hearted or luke warm.) You’re all unemotional!
Tomoya: We prayed properly right?
Ryota: Yeah we did it properly right?
Taka: What are you guys doing?!
Toru: What are you guys doings?!
Tomoya: It was really funny right?
Ryota: Yes it was really funny.
Taka: No, the only person who was funny was Sakai-san!
Toru: He took the whole thing.
Ryota: Well in the beginning we were really surprised.
Tomoya: Yeah in the beginning when we first met he was so unsocial.
Ryota: He really was.
Taka: It doesn’t matter. Was he unsocial in the video?
Tomoya: But we were saying like should we just do it ourselves? We have a lot of things to ask Sakai-san so we called him to do it but we were surprised that he’d be like that and we had so much fun.
Taka: He’s probably been with snakes for too long so his head is in the wrong. Well snakes are more of a composed animal because they don’t really go “Shaaa!”Unless they get really mad. His personality’s probably become like a snake.
Toru: Their friends. (Sakai-san and the Snakes.)
Ryota: But you understand quite a lot about snakes by watching this right?
Taka: Well yeah, I understand that snakes have poison.
Tomoya: Yeah you gotta watch this. Just in case you encounter a snake right.
Toru: You won’t meet one right?
Taka: Wait first of all when you meet a snake the story is to just keep it from biting you right?
Ryota: No no no, there are ones that are really fast though.
Taka: Fast ones?
Tomoya: Yeah there are fast ones that knock you out in a moment.
Taka: In a moment.
Ryota: Yea you get beaten in a moment.
Taka: Get beaten.
Toru: Even if you get prepared you can’t do anything about it in the situation.
Ryota: But wait before there was the Hyappoda right? Apparently in China you can die from it in five steps.
Tomoya: You die from it in five steps. Laughs
Taka: What is the sense of difference, the sense of difference between over there and here?
Tomoya: Well there is a sense of difference.
Taka: Makes sense.
Tomoya: Ryota, the souvenir!
Ryota: Ahh~ Right right. Here’s the souvenir.
Taka: What souvenir?
Ryota: Well we got souvenirs for the both of you.
Taka: What is it?
Tomoya: You two couldn’t go so we got you this.
Ryota: Yeah.
Taka: Cute!
Tomoya: It’s cute right?
Taka: This is really cute.
Ryota: Try showing it to everyone.
Taka: What is this?
Toru: What is that?
Tomoya: This is a keychain of a snake.
Ryota: It looks like the type of stuff Toru likes right?
Taka: Well this year is that right?
Toru: Did I have that sort of hobby?
Taka: The year of the snake.
Toru: Ryota is the year of the snake right?
Ryota: Yea, I am the year of snakes so to the two of you.
(By the way their talking about the Chinese zodiac for those of you who can’t follow the conversation.)
Taka: Ehh~ it’s so cute.
Ryota: It’s cute right?
Tomoya: Yeah, so we got it for the two of you.
Taka: Ehh~ but there must be only a few people who have this.
Toru: True
Taka: ‘Cause not that many people went there.
Ryota: Probably because of this year being the year of the snake more people would go right?
Taka: I want this one instead.
Toru: Yeah they’ll go, they’ll go.
Taka: Most likely out of the people watching they will go.
Tomoya: We were in the mood to go once a month.
Ryota: Yeah, seriously.
Taka: But what are you going to do by going to Gunma once a month to snake land? What was it snake…?
Tomoya: Snake Centre
Taka: Snake Centre it’s just as the name implies.
Tomoya: You’re dissing it too much.
Taka: That’s not true. Well as it is the year of snakes and you already went to pray for a hit.
Tomoya: Yes we did.
Taka: Makes sense.
Tomoya: But this still has a continuation.
Taka: Still?
Tomoya: Still.
Ryota: Yea there’s more to it.
Toru: This is enough right?
Tomoya: Wait wait! I know you want to see it. From here is the good part.
Ryota: Yeah, from here is the important bit.
Toru: This is enough right?
Tomoya: No! From here is the good part.
Toru: But it just finished.
Taka: What I’m worried about is till that point you were pretty messed up so how are you going to top that off?
Tomoya: The top off from here is really nasty.
Ryota: Yeah it’s nasty.
Toru: You must be joking.
Ryota: Just watch it.
Tomoya: Just watch the video.
Ryota: The top off is really good.
Toru: Really?
Tomoya: Yeah.
Taka: Ok then we’ll watch a bit later.
Tomoya: After a bit?
Taka: Let’s watch it after a bit. Isn’t that ok or are we already watching the next part?
Toru: It looks like its ok to watch it whenever.
Taka: Are we going straight away?
Ryota: Is anytime alright?
Toru: But isn’t it like that?
Taka: Anytime is ok.
Toru: Is it really that interesting?
Ryota: This is, really. From here it’s interesting.
Toru: Sakai-san’s personality is really popular.
Ryota: Yes from the next part he appears a lot.
Taka: Really
Toru: Joking right?
Taka: Shall we watch more then?
Ryota: He’ll come up again right?
Tomoya: He is supposed to come up.
Ryota: He’s supposed to come up!
Taka: Supposed to?
Toru: If Sakai-san’s funny I’ll keep watching.
Tomoya: Hey, we’re also trying our best too. Appreciate us more!
Ryota: That’s right.
Toru: Ok then let’s watch more.
Taka: Ok then let’s go to the next video.
Tomoya: Ok to the next part of video.
After they finished praying for a hit…
Tomoya: So we’ve prayed and we’re hungry right?
Ryota: Yeah, I’m starving.
(Toru: This is so long.)
Tomoya: We’re starving so … at this restaurant … we would like try the number one recommended menu.
Ryota: Todays…
(Toru: Restaurant?)
Tomoya: Todays…
Tomoya and Ryota: What is the recommendation?!
Sakai: We have Mamushi and Habu but …
Ryota: Is it snake cooking?!
Sakai: Yes that’s right.
So with saying that …
(Taka: It’s still living!
Tomoya: That’s right.
Taka: Raw food?
Ryota: No.
(Don’t know what they said inbetween...)
Toru: Then that’s why they treat it like that
Tomoya: It was so scary)
Ryota: Does that (snake) have poison!?
Sakai: Poison!? Yes it has. If it didn’t have poison it wouldn’t come biting at to you. It’s fine, even if you get bitten you only die so you don’t need to worry.
(Tomoya: Their mood is all difficult (to react to.))
Sakai: Would you like to try touching it?!
(Taka: They must be all ridiculous.)
Tomoya: Do they feel nice? Aah!
Ryota: Aah!
Tomoya and Ryota: Ahh!
Ryota: Ahh that’s amazing!! What the heck is this!!
Tomoya: Eeeeh!!
Ryota: This is nasty!!
Tomoya: Please don’t ever let go!!
(Tomoya who is completely nervous about the snake)
Ryota: Isn’t this strength really nasty!? Properly feel it, feel it.
Tomoya: Ahh but the stomach’s really soft!!
Ryota: Snakes are really hard in this area (In the back)!!
Sakai: This is hygienically got a bone here and this part…
Tomoya: Uwah!
Ryota: If they move they are dangerous!! When you properly touch it you have to touch it firmly!!
(Tomoya being growled by Ryota)
(Toru: Even though Tomoya is older than Ryota. Laughs)
Ryota: Those sorts of things are dangerous!!
Tomoya: So from now you’re going to grill that (snake)!?
Sakai: That is correct
(Taka: That’s scary!)
Tomoya and Ryota: Eh! Eh! Eh!
Ryota: Uwaah! Awesome!! What is this!?
(Tomoya: Afterall this is grilled so it’s going to be separated into tiny pieces.
Taka: Really!?)
Sakai: You squeeze this blood…
Tomoya: You squeeze this blood…
(Taka: I can’t handle it anymore.)
Ryota: Wow that’s awesome!!
Tomoya: Wah wah wah wah!
Ryota: Uuuwah!
Tomoya: Wah wah wah wah!
(Ryota: At this moment it was nasty for me.)
Ryota: This is really amazing!! Snakes are so cool!!
Now let’s drink the snake’s lifeblood…
Ryota: Then...
(Tomoya: This is blood, this is blood!!)
Sakai: It might be a bit bitter.
Ryota: Ok I’m going to drink it.
Sakai: Yes.
(Taka: Honestly?!)
Ryota: It’s delicious!!
Tomoya: Really?
(Taka: You must be kidding?
Tomoya: It had wine in it.
Taka: Ohh.
Ryota: It was made easy to drink.)
Ryota: It’s delicious!!
Tomoya: Does is taste like snake!?
(Taka: Aren’t you a bit stupid?)
Ryota: Just a little bit… It’s definitely alright. It’s not delicious!?
Tomoya: Ah!
Ryota: It’s not delicious!? It’s not delicious!?
Tomoya: It’s really delicious!! It’s like, it’s like it has a lot of nutrients packed into it…
Ryota: In reverse it would be on a level of being fighted for and it’s good for your health and liver too.
Tomoya: It’s really yummy!! I was really surprise that it doesn’t really taste like Snake as much as I thought it would have.
Ryota: Yeah me too!
(Toru: In reverse it hasn’t been fighted for.
Taka: Waah!
Toru: What is this? What is this?)
Sakai: This is already cut into pieces.
Grilled Mamushi (Japanese Apricot (Ume) 6000 yen)
(Roughly around $68 US Dollar)
Ryota: This looks so delicious! The smell is nasty (yabai)!!
(Toru: You eat the insides later right?)
Tomoya: Let’s dig in to grilled Snake.
Ryota: Let’s dig in!!
(Toru: Is it a good appetite?
Tomoya: If you try it..
Taka: Disgusting.
Toru: Uwah, impossible! Impossible!)
Ryota: Is it delicious? How is it?
Tomoya: Mmm! Mmm! Mmm! Well the bones… there are a lot of small bones but you can eat it really easily, it’s really crispy yea.
Ryota: You can eat it? You can eat it? Ehh!! This is just the face!! This is the face!! Ok I’m going to eat it.
(Taka: Waah! Really!?)
Ryota: Well you don’t really have opportunities where you can eat a Habu’s face so…
Crunch Crunch
(Taka: He’s eating it with one bite!)
Ryota: Hard!! It’s hard!! Eh!! Can you eat this!?
Sakai: Yes it’s edible.
Ryota: This is so hard!!
(Taka: How many times are you going to say that?
Ryota: Out of all the things I’ve ate in my life that was the most hardest thing ever.
Taka: Harder than beef jerkey
Ryota: This is really hard.)
Tomoya: It really sounds like bones.
Ryota: It’s really hard!!
(Toru: Is it yummy?)
Ryota: But this is healthy for you …
Sakai: It has amino acids… the calcium is amazing as well.
Ryota: This is really hard!!
We decided to specially have the masters prided handmade snake alcohol…
Sakai: If you would like… drink it with water.
(Taka: It came out.
Ryota: This was nasty!)
Tomoya: Isn’t it quite strong!?
Sakai: Not really it only has 70%
Ryota: 70%!! It’s too rock!! Much appreciated.
(Toru: You don’t drink alcohol do you guys?
Taka: Yeah, the pair who don’t drink much are drinking.)
Ryota: It’s too strong!!
(Tomoya: It was really nasty.
Toru: 70% is nasty)
Ryota: It’s so strong!! It came all at once!! Actually we didn’t drink that much while we were on tour before did we? This is a bit too strong for me… I’ll dilute it (with water). Ahh! It’s still strong!! Even if you add water… try drink it with water. Drink it in one go!! This is really too strong.
After that… the two who got going
(Tomoya: We kept drinking for a while.
Ryota: Yeah, we drank quite a lot.
Tomoya: He also served out a different sake as well.)
Kept drinking the alcohol recommended by the master…
Ryota: This is really coming at me!
(Toru: He’s laughing)
From that result with a feeling of slight intoxication they continued to this corner…
Tomoya: Let’s.
Ryota: Let’s.
(Ryota: I was already so exhausted.)
Tomoya: We have finally come. We are at the point where we are very full … Ryota, your face is a bit red but aren’t you drunk!?
Ryota: I’m alright~
Tomoya: I’m alright too~ Since we came here… it’d be kind of boring if we just looked so “First Round Only in the year of the snake who can get an aura filled cool snake photo!? Snake Best Shot Photo Showdown!!”
Ryota: Hyeah! I’ll win this!
Tomoya: Aha! I’ll win this!
Ryota: No! I’ll win!
Tomoya: I’ll win!
Ryota: I’ll win!
Tomoya: No, because it’s me I’ll win!
Ryota: No it’s me who’ll win!!
Tomoya: It’s me!
<<Snake Best Shot Photo Showdown Rules>>
In the limited time of 15 minutes who can get an aura filled cool snake photo!?
(Toru: You guys are so troublesome.
Taka: Aren’t you guys stupid really?
Tomoya: We get really serious when we have a showdown.)
Tomoya: Ready? Start!!
(Taka: Uwah! Scary!
Toru: You’re taking lots of shots.)
Ryota: Good. That appearance is nice.
(Taka: Sakai-san! Sakai-san!
Tomoya: He’s too surreal!
Toru: Is this snake safe?
Tomoya & Ryota: Yeah it’s safe.
Tomoya: And Sakai-san held one for us.)
Tomoya and Ryota: Finish!!
(Taka: Sakai’san’s nose is really big!)
Ryota: Thank-you.
Tomoya: It was a bit hard right?
Ryota: Well it was a bit hard. As we don’t have many opportunities at…
Tomoya: Taking a photo of an animal it was difficult but the two of us tried our best and took photos so with this we will return to the studio. With the photos we took which one is better!? We would like everyone to decide… we will finish now and return to the studio.
(Toru: Unbelievable!
Ryota: I was about to fall asleep.
Tomoya: He hardly spoke.
Toru: You guys want to go home right there right?
Taka: This is unbelievable.
Ryota: It was nasty.
Toru: He didn’t even say anything!
Tomoya: He didn’t say anything even at the end!
Toru: Speak!)
Taka: “We will return to the studio.” There’s no more of the location right?
Tomoya and Ryota: That’s all, that’s all.
Taka: There’s no more right?
Toru: In the end what was it that best shot?
Taka: There’s that sort of thing?! Oh the ones you took before!
Toru: Yea those. They took photos.
Taka: Makes sense!
Toru: You were doing a showdown right?
Ryota: Yea it was a showdown.
Taka: Makes sense.
Ryota: And both of us still haven’t seen the ones we took yet. So we were going to show and let the watchers decide which is best.
Taka: To all the watchers right?
Ryota: Yeah everyone who is watching.
Toru: Makes sense.
Taka: Makes sense.
Ryota: So you two decide as well ok?
Taka: So we can decide too? We’re included?
Toru: Were you able to take good photos?
Ryota: Yeah we did.
Toru: Really?
Ryota: Even though I was really exhausted we were able to take really cool photos.
Taka: So we take this and show it and then let them decide who won by getting them to tweet who is best.
Ryota: Yeah.
Toru: That’s right.
Taka: Let’s let them decide.
Toru: Let’s do that.
Taka: Without delay let’s show the pictures then.
Ryota: Then..
Tomoya: Shall we go?
Toru: Who’ll go first? Shall we start with Ryota then?
Taka: Then shall we start with Ryota.
Ryota: Then I’ll start. Well then I’ll show you guys first.
Taka: Ok.
Ryota: I have a lot of confidence in this. Here I go.
Toru: Ok, the best shot.
Ryota: Tadaa~!
Toru and Taka: Whoa~~
Ryota: Yes.
Taka: You took it reasonably well.
Toru: It has this sense of movement in it.
Ryota: It’s cool right? I made it so the background focus point is blurred.
Toru: Ho ho hoo~
Ryota: That way it looks like it’s coming out.
Toru: You were able to do quite well even though you were drunk.
Ryota: This here, I did it properly.
Toru: You were able to do it.
Tomoya: It’s really cool.
Ryota: Yeah and what I want you to look carefully at the most is the tongue sticking out right here. Yes, thank-you.
Toru: Yes thank-you.
Ryota: This here…
Toru: It isn’t “yes thank-you”.
Ryota: This part where it’s got its tongue poking out for me is...
Tomoya: It only poked its tongue sometimes.
Ryota: Yeah that’s right it only poked it tongue for you sometimes so that was what I was aiming for.
Taka: Makes sense.
Ryota: Yeah.
Toru: You aimed to take this photo.
Ryota: Yeah.
Taka: Is there only one copy of this?
Ryota: And there is also bonus with this.
Taka: Whoa! There’s a bonus.
Ryota: This one is...
Toru: But that one is the recommended right?
Ryota: Yup that’s right.
Toru: That one there is your best shot there. Ryota’s best shot.
Ryota: Yeah my best shot and this one here is.. And here is the bonus Tadaa~!
Taka: Aha! It’s that one.
Toru: Sakai’san! Is it Sakai-san who is across from Tomoya’s?
Ryota: This is surreal right?
Taka: This one’s way better isn’t it?
Toru: So true.
Ryota: No well, I was thinking of going with this one but.
Tomoya: Sakai-san.
Ryota: But Sakai-san was in it too so.
Taka: Sakai-san.
Ryota: Sakai-san. But it’s cool right?
Tomoya: Yeah it’s cool.
Ryota: Tomoya was in a good state.
Tomoya: Is it that fish lens.
Ryota: Yeah the fish lens.
Tomoya: The ones that you bought recently.
Taka: This looks like the teachings of the gods. (Shinden is what Taka said but there’s too many meanings too it.)
Ryota: That’s rude.
Toru: His nose is big and he’s dead what does it mean?
Ryota: And I have one more.
Taka: Ok one more.
Ryota: The next one is mainly Sakai-san but…
Taka: Really?
Ryota: Here, Tadaa~!
Tomoya: It’s where I was taking a photo right?
Ryota: That’s right. And the snake is going towards Tomoya’s camera as you can see here.
Taka: Sakai-san is..
Ryota: Yes?
Taka: This person is he living properly? Is he alright?
Toru: He is living.
Taka: Look right here. His face looks just like a snake here.
Toru: But if you’re always with them you probably become like them too.
Ryota: Yeah, he’s always with snakes every day.
Tomoya: Yeah he knew everything about snakes.
Taka: Is this person married?
Tomoya: He was always a mystery.
Ryota: Yeah he was a mystery. But these three photos are good right, but to me this ones the best.
Toru: That’s your best.
Tomoya: The colour contrast is really good and it came out really well.
Ryota: Yeah it came out really well right.
Taka: But I’d say this ones the best.
Ryota: That one? Then I’ll go with these two.
Taka: These two.
Ryota: With these two.
Taka: Then let’s see Tomoya’s photos.
Tomoya: Ok then the first one.
Ryota: I’m really excited.
Toru: What is it like?
Ryota: I’m really excited.
Tomoya: First off is the beard and the snake.
Ryota: The beard and snake.
Tomoya: Tadaa~
Taka: Oh! Makes sense.
Ryota: Makes sense.
Toru and Taka: Ryota’s beard and snake.
Taka: Oh~ yes.
Ryota: But it came out really nicely.
Taka: Is this the first shot.
Tomoya: Yes this is the first shot.
Taka: And the second shot?
Tomoya: For the second shot I bought a thing called close-up lenses recently.
Taka: Yeah.
Tomoya: Just recently.
Taka: The two are into cameras recently and they buy various lenses.
Tomoya: That’s right. And this time I thought I’d use it but it was quite difficult. And it’s a distinctive photo that can be only caught on close-up lenses and it’s a real good shot.
Ryota: That’s going to be nasty.
Tomoya: Tadaa~
Taka: Woah~! That’s amazing.
Ryota: That’s amazing. And the eye is taken really beautifully.
Tomoya: It looks.
Toru: like a glacier.
Tomoya: I tried to get the smaller details up close and I was thinking get as much as I can.
Ryota: That’s amazing.
Toru: Makes sense
Tomoya: Yeah and there’s one more.
Taka: That’s amazing.
Toru: You can take the photo that clearly?
Tomoya: This one here is really surreal.
Toru: Yes.
Ryota: That’s too surreal!
Tomoya: It’s like saying “What is this guy thinking?”
Taka: I actually like this one the best.
Tomoya: I like this one the best.
Taka: I like that one the best too.
Toru: Where’s Sakai-san in this one?
Tomoya: I didn’t take Sakai-san because it was too up close and he didn’t come out.
Taka: Later you could try to combine Sakai-san into this photo.
Ryota: That’s really amazing.
Taka: And which two are you going to choose Tomoya?
Tomoya: I was thinking this was good. I’m going to rely on you guys to choose.
Ryota: Makes sense. Then which one should we go with?
Tomoya: Which one should we go with? Then should we go with this one?
Taka: Let go with that one then.
Ryota: Then let’s go with that one.
Taka: Ok then let’s have a look at the tweets.
Toru: Then let’s get the watchers to decide through the tweets whether it’s Ryota or Tomoya who is the winner.
Ryota: We can hardly see it here.
Tomoya: It’s too fast, It’s too fast.
Ryota: This is 31 minutes ago so it’s really…
Tomoya: It’s too fast that I can’t understand it. Really! You guys look at it too, look!
Toru: Can we not make this slower?
Taka: I don’t get this at all.
Tomoya: Oh! With this we can pause it for a while.
Toru: Looks like we can do that.
Tomoya: Ryota, Ryota, Ryota, combine Sakai-san in it! Ryota, Tomoya, Ryota, Ryota, Ryota, Tomoya.
Toru: Looks like there are a lot of votes for Ryota.
Tomoya: There’s more Ryota by the looks of this. Tomoya, Tomoya, Ryota, Sakai-san! Tomoya, Tomoya, Ryota, Ryota. Aren’t there more votes for Ryota? Ah! There’s a few! Tomoya, Tomoya, Tomoya, Tomoya, Tomoya, Ryota.
Toru: It’s debatable.
Tomoya: Tomoya
Taka: It’s debatable.
Ryota: We don’t know with this.
Tomoya: This is really debatable.
Taka: It’s really hard to say.
Tomoya: It’s about half-half with this.
Taka: But
Tomoya: Isn’t there more votes for Ryota? What do you think Toru?
Toru: Eh?
Tomoya: Shall we get the members to decide?!
Ryota: Yeah
Tomoya: This is really...
Toru: Well… three dimensionally that one is how you say it a better photo.
Ryota: This one here right?
Tomoya: This one looks cool.
Toru: It looks more like a photo.
Taka: In opposite I think this would look good combined with Sakai-san.
Toru: Combined with Sakai-san?
Taka: Yeah combined with Sakai-san
Toru: But there’s another one of him in it. But that’s annoying to combine him with the photo.
That’s troublesome. That’s annoying right?
Taka: Is it ok? Is it ok?
Ryota: Shall we try it once?
Taka: Can I try it?
Ryota: Then let’s try it. This with this.
Taka: How is it like this?
Toru: Sakai-san is standing on top of the snake.
Taka: While imagining that we should choose.
Ryota: Makes sense.
Toru: Makes sense.
Ryota: That’s funny!
Tomoya: Makes sense.
Taka: Which one? I think that Tomoya’s is by far the best.
Toru: That isn’t a best shot!
Taka: Sakai-san is here.
Tomoya: What shall we do?
Taka: True, what shall we do?
Toru: What shall we do?
Tomoya: Personally this time I really feel like I lost Ryota.
Taka: Is that so?
Tomoya: This photo is cool, I even though I feel frustrated.
Taka: But there are a lot of votes for Ryota.
Tomoya: There is a lot.
Taka: There’s even comments’ saying that the winner is Sakai-san.
Toru: Let’s do it to Ryota.
Taka: Shall we decide our winner as Ryota?
Toru: Yup.
Taka: Then the winner is decided as Ryota!
Tomoya: I lost!
Ryota: Yay!
Toru: It’s good. It was a good photo.
Tomoya: It’s really cool.
Ryota: I was able to take a really good photo.
Toru: In this one your using binocular lenses right?
Ryota: Yes.
Toru: It looks like Rui’s style.
Ryota: Yeah it looks like Rui’s style.
Toru: Did you rip it off?
Ryota: Yeah Rui-san taught me how to do it.
Toru: You’re definitely ripping it off.
Ryota: He taught me how to do it.
Taka: Makes sense.
Toru: Well isn’t it good.
Taka: This time the photo taken by Ryota is.
Toru: The best shot.
Taka: Is chosen as the best shot.
Ryota: Yes.
Taka: We don’t really know if they went to go pray for a hit or to take photos.
Toru: Yeah we don’t know.
Ryota: Yes.
Taka: To the people who helped in various ways we need to thank Ikeda-kun who also co-operated with them by doing the camera work.
Ryota: Ikeda-kun thank you.
Tomoya: Ike-chan thank you.
Toru: Osamu!
Taka: Osamu!
Toru: Well he is here today.
Taka: Will he appear? He won’t appear. Well in that way they did many things. Well in any case what did you do this time?
Toru: That’s right
Taka: What did we do?
Toru: Yeah what did we do?
Taka: Well in any case what we want to do the time is with the song Tomoya and Ryota made Deeper Deeper they went to Snake Land to pray so that it would become a hit.
Toru: They went.
Taka: And we are on the screen.
Ryota: Yes
Taka: After so long to show our faces and a happy new year.
Toru: Yes.
Taka: I was just looking at the tweets but some people were saying “What are they going to do for us?” and a lot of other stuff.
Toru: Yes.
Tomoya: Yeah they were coming.
Taka: Really. I really thought is this alright? Soon the time is going to be up.
Toru: That’s right.
Taka: We should decide what to discuss.
Tomoya: That’s true.
Taka: Ok to begin with our recent single Deeper Deeper once again could you tell us how you felt when you made it and what sort of song it has become with an explanation from the two of you.
Tomoya: Well time after time when we make it we think we want to put our own style into the song. Each one of us has our own favourite genre, cd and sometimes we think we want to create this sort of taste into the song and we have several ideas that we develop. But this time there is quite a lot electronic drums in it and the synthesizer was used frequently and while putting in different surfaces to usual and Taka added his colours to the melody and it has our own flavour in it and as a song it has become a big satisfaction to me I think.
Taka: That makes sense. And this has really become part your compilations.
Ryota: Yeah.
Taka: The song itself…
Tomoya: It really has that feeling of everything that we could do now.
Ryota: Everything we could do now.
Taka: Makes sense. We also have another song called Nothing Help which to us ONE OK ROCK is a song where we went to the studio without any instruments after a long time just the four of us.
Tomoya: That’s right.
Taka: Without choosing which studio to go in we went on a taxi and went in a studio that we happen to notice.
Ryota: Went in.
Taka: And borrowed guitars and stick and borrowed everything.
Taka: And borrowed everything.
Tomoya: Borrowed everything.
Taka: And made the song. And this time this is the song for the game Devil May Cry that they will use for the advertisement?
Toru: That’s right. It’s an image song.
Taka: Yeah like an image song. It’s being used as an image song and as a coupling there is another song called Kasabuta (Scab). And it includes three songs. It is finally being released the day after tomorrow.
Toru: Yes the day after tomorrow. This is it. This is it.
Taka: It is now in hands reach.
Tomoya: This is it.
Taka: This is it. Well it doesn’t matter how and what way but please listen and we will be grateful.
Toru and Tomoya: Yes.
Taka: We are almost out of time and we are coming towards then.
Toru and Ryota: Oh.
Taka: We are thinking of giving presents.
Tomoya: Yes.
Taka: While saying that, from now I will present the details. I think there is a keyword. The keyword I am presenting is to be tweeted and after the recording there will be a raffle between the tweets and from the amuse staff they will send a reply to the winners. There are already a lot of tweets here.
Tomoya: A lot has come.
Taka: A lot has come.
Tomoya: A lot has come.
Taka: Depending on how everyone tweets the keyword that I am going to present now we are going to choose out of the tweets randomly. So the people who haven’t tweeted already aren’t involved in this. Ok without delay I would like to present the key word for this time.
Toru: Yes.
Ryota: Yes.
Taka: The keyword this time is this here. Tadaa~! Snake and ONE OK ROCK. Hey we’ve heard it somewhere before. It’s a title we’ve heard of before. Well this year is the year of the snake and we went to snake land and Ryota is the year of the snake too.
Ryota: I am the year of snake.
Taka: Well you guys went and various things have happened and we would like to go with the keyword is snake and ONE OK ROCK. We would like you to tweet this keyword and from the tweets we will randomly choose the winners.
Ryota: Yes.
Toru: Yes.
Taka: Well after this we will think about it slowly and please look forward to it. Then we’ll soon… Ah! That’s right!
Toru: That’s right.
Taka: I almost forgot. Our song Deeper Deeper is also used in a commercial.
Toru: Yes.
Ryota: That’s right it’s being used.
Tomoya: I’ve already seen it.
Taka: Oh really?
Ryota: I saw it too.
Taka: I haven’t seen it yet.
Toru: Oh really?
Tomoya: When I switched the TV on it was on screen and I was a bit surprised.
Taka: That’s amazing.
Tomoya: I was so happy.
Taka: You feel happy when your own song is used as a commercial.
Toru: It’s used in a car commercial.
Tomoya: That’s right.
Toru: It’s used for Suzuki’s
Taka: Suzuki’s car commercial.
Tomoya: Suzuki Swift.
Toru: The Suzuki swift.
Taka: The Suzuki swift!
Toru: A car called Suzuki Swift.
Tomoya: It’s the Swift Sport.
Taka: The Swift sport.
Tomoya: It’s streaming.
Taka: You don’t usually have the opportunity to have your song used in a commercial.
Tomoya: Ah.
Ryota: Ah. I was just purely happy with it.
Taka: You weren’t imagining it right?
Tomoya: Yup.
Taka: Well gradually the songs you make are going to reach different people in different ways and that is really pleasant thing. In ONE OK ROCK’s way we would like to try our best in many different things.
Toru: Yes.
Taka: We would like to that but what are your plans like for this year? Is there something you have decided on?
Toru: How is it? Well at the moment we are editing songs so.
Taka: We’ve done a lot of recording.
Toru: That will gradually become open to the public.
Taka: That’s right.
Toru: We have that too.
Taka: We also have the previous album Zankyou Reference and we don’t know and can’t imagine how long it’s been since then. But we had the previous tour and we, ONE OK ROCK absorbed different feelings thoughts and feelings. We have put them one by one into shapes.
Toru: Yup.
Taka: We are in that process. Truthfully we don’t know when this will be released but we want to be able to properly spread it to everyone at a good timing and furthermore rise after going into this year. While being excited for that on a side note we have released our first single of the year.
Ryota: Yes.
Toru: The day after tomorrow.
Taka: Deeper Deeper/Nothing Helps double-sided A single which is going to be release on the 9th of January, we would like you to be excited for this double-sided single. Well from now I would like each one of us to discuss your direction and the end the music video that everyone is patiently waiting for.
Toru: Deeper Deeper.
Taka: Deeper Deeper’s full version music video.
Tomoya: Oh!
Ryota: Oh!
Tomoya: Full version!
Taka: Will be shown and it will be time for farewell I think.
Tomoya: Full? Full? It’s the first time full!
Toru: It is the first time full
Taka: We have 15 minutes left. We still have 15 minutes left.
Ryota: We have 15 minutes left?
Toru: Is that right? But we have that right?
Taka: That’s right.
Toru: We don’t have to do it that steadily.
Taka: Yeah, why don’t we talk while looking at the tweets?
Ryota: Shall we have a look then?
Tomoya: When I looked at it now all I can see is Snake and ONE OK ROCK. What shall I do?
Toru: Everyone’s sending it in.
Tomoya: Everyone’s sending a lot in.
Ryota: It’s true, it’s true.
Taka: But probably everyone’s come to see the full version of the music video the most.
Tomoya: Wait, wait!
Taka: Let’s drag it along.
Toru: Ehh.
Ryota: Um, this person said “Full please.”
Taka: What shall we do? Shall we choose the winner from here?
Tomoya: Shall we choose.
Taka: Instead of doing it after the recording?
Toru: Shall we choose?
Tomoya: That’s good, that’s good.
Ryota: Then which one shall we choose?
Taka: How many people is it?
Staff: One person.
Taka: One person?
Toru: It’s one person.
Tomoya: One person!
Ryota: Is there an interesting one?
Tomoya: This is amazing; looking through the computer is amazing.
Toru: This is going to be hard choosing.
Tomoya: It’s going to be hard.
Taka: Ryota should choose the winner.
Ryota: That’s true.
Taka: Why don’t you give it all away?
Ryota: Shall I give all of them?
Tomoya: And give this too.
Taka: Then how many people? In total?
Ryota: 1, 2.
Taka: It’s kind of mean to give one person all the photos. Shall we do it to two people then?
Toru: Two people.
Taka: The one Ryota took and the one Tomoya took.
Tomoya: That’s good.
Taka: And the present the staff will give. Then let’s do it to three people.
Tomoya: Yes.
Taka: So from here let’s choose three people!
Tomoya: Ok three people.
Ryota: Three people!? One more person.
Taka: Two people? Shall we do two people? Shall we do the snake?
Toru: Is this it?
Taka: Oh is this it? It’s the souvenir we just got.
Toru: This is the present.
Ryota: Say, you guys won’t use it anyway right? You won’t use it anyway right, Toru?
Taka: Let’s do that then.
Tomoya: Let’s do that.
Taka: So can we have the two key chains as one present?
Toru: Let’s do that as one present, as one set.
Taka: Ok.
Toru: Yes.
Taka: So that means we have a total of 4 winners then.
Ryota: Yes.
Toru: Isn’t it three?
Taka: Oh, it’s three winners.
Tomoya: Three winners.
Ryota: It’s three winners.
Toru: This is one winner.
Tomoya: And this is one winner and.
Ryota: This photo.
Taka: Ok, let’s do that.
Ryota: Then let’s choose three winners.
Toru: Yosh!
Ryota: Look, look. Eh!
Toru: Yosh! Ryota choose one winner.
Ryota: One person? Who shall I choose? That’s right it’s Snake and ONE OK ROCK.
Taka: The photo is pretty important too.
Ryota: That’s true. Maybe I’ll choose one with a punch.
Toru: That’s true.
Taka: Shall we choose that? Shall we do it to that?
Toru: The paper will come out so choose.
Tomoya: This is amazing, really!
Toru: Choose one!
Tomoya: Shall we go?
Toru: Let’s choose our first winner!
Taka: Eh?
Toru: Let’s choose our first winner!
Tomoya: What shall I do? What shall I do?
Ryota: Where is it written here?
Toru: Um, it says Snake and ONE OK ROCK.
Ryota: Oh. This is probably the previous ones.
Taka: This here, this.
Toru: A lot have come.
Tomoya: A lot has come. There’s too many…
Toru: Choose!
Taka: If you’re chosen it’s like the same level of luck as the lottery.
Toru: Let’s go.
Tomoya: We’re going?
Toru: Go!
Tomoya: Which one do I read? Should I read this?
Toru: It’s probably that one.
Tomoya: Is it this one?
Toru: Isn’t it this one? We read it from the name.
Ryota: I decided who the winner is already.
Taka: One more person.
Ryota: I already decided.
Toru: Quickly say it. Quickly choose.
Tomoya: I choose?!
Toru: Go, go!
Ryota: Umm @mmarskk {Morita}
Taka: Wonder who it is?
Ryota: I was attracted to it because it says Morita.
Taka: Morita?
Ryota: Morita.
Toru: Morita-san.
Ryota: Morita-san.
Toru: We choose Morita-san as one of our winners.
Taka: Did you choose?
Toru: First winner.
Ryota: @mmarskk

Tomoya and Ryota: Congratulations.
Taka: Lastly I will choose in one go.
Toru: Let’s go.
Ryota: How are we going to choose?
Taka: I wonder. Let’s do this. From now the person who sends the word I say now first will be the winner.
Tomoya: That’s good.
Taka: Here we go. Sepperin.
Ryota: Sepperin.
Toru: It’s apparently Sepperin.
Taka: Has the tweets come?
Ryota: What, what, what?
Tomoya: This is…
Toru: Looks like this is going to take time.
Ryota: Sepperin is a bit...
Taka: How much time difference is there? 3, 4 minutes?
Tomoya: It’s come! It’s come!
Taka: Has it come!?
Tomoya: Sepperin.
Taka: Who’s first?
Tomoya: Just wait, just wait.
Toru: Ah, wait. Up there look there’s still more.
Tomoya: The one at the very top is the newest.

Taka: It hasn’t come yet.
Ryota: It hasn’t come yet.
Tomoya: This is really amazing.
Taka: It’s come! It’s come!
Ryota: What about this?
Taka: It’s this guy! It’s this guy!

Ryota: Yes.
Taka: Toru what do you have to say?
Toru: Well we have already released our first single for the year. And the New Year has already begun, this year. We hope to somewhat make lots of songs and release lots of things in the near future. And we will definitely do lives too.
Taka: Lives too.
Toru: I want to keep going without changing. Well I hope to be doing everything diligently while running swiftly. Well without changing from last year please take care of me this year as well. Let’s try our best for this year.
Taka and Ryota: Yay!
Ryota: Let’s try our best!
Taka: After Toru is Ryota.
Ryota: Yes, I only have one thing to say.
Toru: What is it?
Ryota: I am um that because.
Taka: Is that…
Toru: That isn’t one thing to say!
Taka: Don’t you have something to say?
Ryota: No, well I always choose.
Taka: Choose what?
Ryota: In January make it a better year than last year. No this is true! Try harder than last year.
Toru: That’s correct.
Tomoya: That’s right.
Ryota: Really we have to rise and make good music again and reach it to everyone that’s what I think.
Taka: That’s true. That’s true.
Toru: Everyone’s the same.
Ryota: Isn’t that right? That’s what I always choose.
Toru: That’s right.
Taka: So what is it? Which one is it?
Ryota: Well this year what I want to say is please take care of me this year everyone.
Taka: I can’t follow.
Toru: I can’t follow either.
Ryota: So everyone please take care of me.
Taka: I don’t understand at all.
Toru: It’s always like that.
Taka: I don’t understand you at all.
Ryota: Tomoya quickly wrap it up for me.
Tomoya: Eh Me? Wrap it up? Toru said everything already!
Ryota: That’s right.
Tomoya: There’s nothing else to say.
Toru: There’s still lot’s to say.
Taka: That’s right.
Tomoya: I always have something decided.
Taka: What is it?
Ryota: What is it?
Toru: What is it?
Tomoya: Go stoic this year. Try my hardest.
Taka: Try your hardest.
Tomoya: and do my best.
Taka: Makes sense.
Toru: Tomoya, you’re not funny.
Ryota: Every year you say that.
Taka: Tomoya, be careful not to do too much Mah-jong this year.
Ryota: That’s true.
Taka: You’re doing it.
Toru: You’re going to really hurt your back by doing that.
Ryota: You’re health will be bad.
Taka: That’s so true.
Tomoya: Am I doing it?
Taka: You’re doing it.
Ryota: You’re definitely doing it!
Tomoya: Wait, wait! From this year, I was just talking about it. I was thinking of going to the gym with Ryota.
Taka: Yes, I’m going too.
Toru: No, you said you had no intention of going before.
Tomoya: No no, I’m in the mood to go now.
Toru: Why do you only say that on the U-stream?
Ryota: That’s so true!
Tomoya: No no no! You guys said something like it would put my health in danger or I would hurt my back so I feel like I should go.
Toru: Just before you were saying it’s a bit far so I won’t go. And the moment the U-stream starts your mood changes.
Ryota: What is that?
Toru: What are you doing trying to put on a good face?
Taka: Ok then make your thin chest about 5cm buffer.
Toru: That’s a good idea.
Ryota: Yosha!
Tomoya: Yup, my chest.
Toru: Ok by the time it’s the next tour let’s make your chest 5cm buffer.
Taka: 5cm is quite hard.
Tomoya: Yup.
Ryota: Let’s go with that.
Toru: Like here.
Tomoya: Ah! Stop it Oi!
Toru: No no, I was confirming.
Tomoya: What are you confirming? That’s attacking me in the key point too much.
Toru: It’s the confirmation for here.
Tomoya: It’s ok like this. You don’t need confirmation with this.
Ryota: He he, what is that voice? Cut it out. I was so surprised.
Toru: It’s so thin. It’s so paper thin.
Tomoya: I will work hard then.
Toru: Let’s put that on and try our best.
Ryota: Try your best.
Toru: Try your best.
Taka: And we each have our own goals. I wonder what I am.
Ryota: Lastly Mori-can.
Taka: But me for now I really last year and this year as well and the next year as well the things we want to do and what we are aiming for if we put it all together into one it doesn’t change. As we made this band and keep going it won’t change but at our own pace and make what we think is cool and continue so that we can keep making actions. And how do I say it? More and more I want to get lots of encouragement and the pieces we make with confidence we want them to reach people who listen to our music. This year as well Ryota was saying more than last year we should make it a good year and try our best.
Ryota: Try our best.
Taka: And I haven’t decided this year but I...
Toru: What is it? You’re messed up.
Ryota: Even though you were saying good thing up till now.
Taka: No so.
Tomoya: Say it straight forward.
Toru: Yeah.
Taka: So as members, four of us I hope that we stay healthy.
Toru: In a private sense don’t you have anything?
Taka: Private life?
Toru: Well everyone said something about the band.
Taka: Ehh~ Private life?
Toru: Like trying hard in love? You don’t have anything? Or go to the gym?
Taka: Well I want to make sure not to get a cold.
Toru: Colds.
Ryota and Tomoya: Ahh~
Tomoya: Last year you got so many colds.
Taka: Last year I would catch a cold every two months.
Ryota: That’s right.
Taka: Well overcome getting colds and.
Toru: That’s true.
Taka: Also last year was my unlucky year.
Everyone: Ahh~
Taka: So really I want to make this year a better one.
Toru: This year should be alright.
Taka: Will it be alright?
Tomoya: Ryota is the unlucky year.
Ryota: I’m in an unlucky year.
Taka and Tomoya: Ahhh.
Ryota: Really just by thinking about it my spirits go down. Because my spirits go down. But..
Toru: But even though it’s your unlucky year even if something happened you wouldn’t realize. If you’re like this.
Taka: Because he is an idiot.
Ryota: Well, well. I blow off everything.
Toru: Even if you say blow off even if something happened you wouldn’t know. You wouldn’t realize. You’ll be alright. No problems.
Ryota: Yeah I won’t have any problems. I’ll be alright.
Taka: From last year to this year we made lots of songs and would like to release them quickly.
Toru: Let’s do that.
Taka: Everyone will listen to that and hope they can come play at our tour. Let’s try our best with many things this year. Please support us~
Everyone: Please take care of us.
Taka: Finally can we go ahead with this?
Tomoya: The thing we’ve been waiting for!
Toru: The thing we’ve been waiting for!
Ryota: The thing we’ve been waiting for! Let’s go!
Toru: Everyone, you must have been waiting?
Taka: Ok so our single that’s going to be released on the 9th of January Deeper Deeper/Nothings Helps music video full version. While watching we would like to say our farewells.
Toru: Do our farewells.
Taka: Bye bye!
Ryota: Yeah!
Taka: Then the two who made the song please introduce the video.
Toru: Let’s go! Let’s go.
Tomoya: Shall we then? For now.
Ryota: For now ok.
