Cooking up some dynamic, ma boiz Malik and Altair. who do you think is winning this? 👀
Altair: safety and peace, Malik
Malik: your presence here deprives me of both
Me: you go Malik, clown his ass
Later After a full game of character development Curtesy of the plot:
Altair: Safety and peace Malik.
Malik: your presence here will deliver us both
Me:
Malik: *holding flowers* Novice; Happy one year!
Altaïr: *smiling* I’m 27
I literally cannot believe that Malik Al-Sayf does not get the credit he deserves.
The man lost his arm, his future as an assassin in the field, and his younger brother, all because of Altair’s arrogance.
And even so, he was STILL able to forgive Altair.
Literally the words in response to Altair’s apology are so powerful:
I do not accept your apology because you are not the same man who went with me into Solomon’s Temple, and so you have nothing to apologize for.
Like holy shit, this dude is so underrated.
Malik: Do you take constructive criticism?
Altair: I only take cash or credit.
Not me planning too write a fan fiction of Toothless hanging out Malik Al-Sayf and being his best friend while also setting him with Altair Ibn-La’Ahad.
Featuring Toothless
arguing with Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad
distrusting Al Mualim
Hating Abbas Sofian
Saving Kadar Al-Sayf from dying.
With Toothless setting up Altamal.
Head cannons are about to be put into a fanfic I guess. XD
*screams in fan enby joy*
you know, I have been thinking as to why Altamal (Altair Ibn-La’had x Malik Al/Sayf) means so much to me and why I could never ship Maria with them and I want to share it with the world.
It’s all about the gay subtext and their relationship development.
We start off with Malik basically being annoyed and envious of Altair because of Al Muslims favoritism towards Altair (which I feel you in Malik, it sucks)
Malik then goes to hating Altair because he indirectly got his younger brother killed, caused him to lose his arm, and took away his role as a master assassin.
But then, as Altair works through the ranks again, Malik sees the character development he goes through and forgives him with the iconic line.
No hate on Maria, but Maria just shows up randomly. There is not much to Altair and Maria’s relationship compared to Altamal.
Malik and Altair are best friends *cough* lovers *cough* husbands *cough* and then, when Altair leaves with his Maria (who is most definitely trans like what an icon) Malik ends up being imprisoned by Abbas.
When Altair asks him in the novelization if he can walk, he responds with “for you, I can walk”
How can y’all not tell me this is not gay? Because it is!!
The queer subtext is RIGHT THERE!!
Altair whenever he walks into the Jerusalem beauru and sees Malik:
