Idling by the rocky shore, Euryale traced the whorls and curves of waves across the pages of her sketchbook. In her opinion, water was an element thoroughly underrepresented in art: so often, fire was considered the element of change, but, as Heraclitus had pointed out, water too contained the essence of change within itself. And to make the transitory enduring - that amused the sardonic side of her nature.
