So i just rewatched kageyamom in english and japanese, and i gotta say the english makes her sound a lot harsher and meaner, while in japanese she sounds more, exasperated i guess? idk, though you do have a point about kageyarents being pretty accepting of the whole psychic powers thing. we need more Daily Life of Kageyama family to see how things typically go outside the occasionally seen family dinner

i just watched the dub for mp100 and i feel like reigens voice should be deeper?? also ritsu is now saying dude but otherwise is perfect, mob is so soft and it fits him to a T. also disliking kageyamom even more cause hearing her in english she just comes off as even more not nice and like mob is the unfavorite and now im remembering that post comparing mobs and ritsus rooms and im making myself angst over it

At first, I kinda thought it should be deeper too. But then I remembered that Reigen is 28 and that’s.. not that old..? He’s got a pretty baby face anyway so idk I think it fits. It’s more important to me that he gets that crazy inflection.

It took me.. many playbacks to accept Ritsu’s voice. Doesn’t help that he only has like two lines haha. But other than that phrase, it does work. I’m just used to the Japanese Ritsu’s voice being much deeper than that. Soft Mob, of course, is perfect.

A lot of ppl hate on Mob’s parents and like, I can see where ur coming from, but also I feel like it’s a bit much? ONE has notoriously made first impressions of every character with their worst foot forward (I mean look at Reigen). At most, they’re guilty of comparing grades and not paying much attention to their personal lives and like, I feel like most parents don’t anyway? Especially if kids are the type to not talk about that stuff? And with the grades, we already know Ritsu gets 100s and Mob is Very Bad At Math. It’s a classic comparison I’ve seen so many parents make. (Heck, Maddie Fenton would compare Danny and Jazz’s grades and I never saw her get flack for it.)

I’ve always seen the Kageyamas and been super grateful. They’ve completely normalized Shigeo’s psychic powers. It could have been a taboo dark subject that would be tensely ignored if it ever happened in front of them but no, it’s “There you go again, bending spoons. You really need to drop that habit” and “Ah, c’mon he’s going through puberty” and any defense for Shigeo was just “spoiling him”. Mob is abnormal with very normal parents but they still treat him and everything he does as normal. And that is just something I’m so very thankful for. Mob is very lucky.

As for this post, I haven’t reblogged it yet because I was thinking to draw something for it. (¬ω¬;;) Ya can’t tell me Mob wouldn’t give his baby brother the better room. I’m also on the bandwagon of thinking that Mob would probably throw things around if he had a nightmare. (Mob’s had a few nightmares just in omakes.) And Kageyamom has probably dealt with a lot of property damage so a bent spoon out of his allowance is nothing compared to a desk in a wall. So after giving Ritsu the better room and Mob wrecking something at some point, a decision was made to “esper-safe” Mob’s room, slowly adding more furniture as he gets older and more in control. Plus, Mob has a bookcase and a desk, I mean it’s not empty.

And maybe we’re all over-analyzing and Mob just likes futons? ¯\_( ᐛ )_/¯

*The animal the replica gained features would depend on the original, like if Asch was more cat like in personality or temperment, then Luke would have ended with cat like eyes and maybe a tail or ears (or all of the above)

*Replicas are treated as freaks of nature by the populace, and they’re worse off because they are so easy to pick out of a crowd. 

*The closer the fonon frequency was to the original, the more traits of an animal the replica has.

I’m such Abyss trash I get so excited when I get asks about it I am not ashamed of my excitement just so everyone knows. Anyway.

Favorite Character: Luke, my ultimate precious baby of preciousness~

Second Favorite Character: Asch. He’s such a salty sassy grumpy pompous asshole and I love him so much. Also gonna throw Guy in here since Asch and Luke are basically tied for first. And Guy is pretty damn amazing.

Least Favorite Character: Van and Mohs, of course. Not a huge fan of Dist either and Sync is iffy. 

The character I’m most like: Definitely Tear. I always try and deal with things myself and don’t like dragging others into my problems. I don’t like crying and I hate crying in front of people, so that scene (you know the scene) really resonated with me. Also Mom Friend. Gotta make sure all my babies are safe and happy. 

Favorite Pairing: AschLuke, LukeTear, GuyLuke, and AschNatalia. And AschLukeGuy is my OT3 just throwing that out there did you think I was kidding when I said I was trash cause I wasn’t

Least Favorite Pairing: LukeNatalia. Not behind that at all. I just can’t see them as anything but friends. 

Favorite Moment: The entire game Not gonna lie, the scene where Luke and Tear and Jade are on the Tartarus fighting the Oracle Knights and Asch jumps in and says the fantastic line of “If you’re afraid to kill, then throw away you’re sword you wORTHLESS REJECT” makes me smile every time. I’m terrible I know.

WAIT WAIT BUT ALSO that scene at the Tower of Rem where Asch and Luke are fighting over who’s gonna sacrifice themselves and all and when Asch is distracted with the Key Luke fucking decks him in the face to get him away and it’s literally the greatest thing ever. It makes me laugh every time.

And then there’s the Jade flashback scene where Peony decks him in the face for almost getting himself killed cause fomicry and experiments and shit and that was the moment I fell in love with Peony I’m pretty sure.

This was a dangerous question whoops.

(Since I can only view this month) The first of this month (12/1) had the most notes, and i gained the most followers.

My step-sister had it and told me to join it so I could follow her. Also, my twin sister told me that there was a lot of Corpse Party stuff on here, so I joined for that too. I started being active just before mvllo told me that I should follow them

did you know that atem is actually 14-15, you know, minus 3000 years? at least im pretty sure he is, i cant check because fire is evil and my copies were destroyed and i dont trust my crappy downloaded scans. maybe you could check, you seem to have all knowledge of ygo?

Hahaha, I don’t have all knowledge of Yu-Gi-Oh. I’m sure there are people out there who know more than I do.

That said, yes, I know that Atem was a teenager when he was sealed into the Puzzle. I don’t think we’re ever given his exact age, though I think he was older than fourteen; I’d wager that he was around fifteen or sixteen—Yuugi’s age—when he was sealed. (And then he was sealed for three thousand years, but hey.) At oldest, he’d be seventeen, but I’d mark my bets around the fifteen/sixteen range, first.

But yes, he would eternally be a teenager, given the fact that he is a spirit who “died” when he was a teenager. You are absolutely correct there.
