I’m gonna tell you a little story. It might sound reminiscent. This is a story of love; and the ending is still unknown. It’s a story, kinda of well-known might I add, about an angelic demon and a demonic angel. They met through war, fell in love against the odds, suffered through so many different obstacles, and are still going strong. 

This is our story.

It’s my favorite story, and you know why. It’s how we met, how we fell in love, how we were “doomed” to chase each other and “never get our happy ending.” But here we are, babe. Still writing this story and waiting out for out “and they lived happily ever after.”

This life is that ending we wanted. That ending that we want together. 

This won’t end like Rome, or like the Viking age, or even the fifties (still fuck the fifties); It will end with us saying “I do” and being happily married. Probably with a few kids, too.

Matthias was only a sophomore and he already hated high school. There was no doubt about it. Between all the rumours about him and the shitty curriculum, he couldn’t wait for it all to be over already.

Maybe he could just drop out and take the GED?...

Eh, maybe if it gets to be too much he will.

But for now, he was dragged to a party that was taking place at one of the popular kid’s house. The whole cliche “my parents are out of town and we’re irresponsible so YOLO right?” scenario. He put on the whole front that he didn’t want to be there and that he hated every moment of it, but in reality he was glad to have some social interaction for once, even if no one really talked to him. It was a pretty friendly environment despite most likely being alcohol induced.

Might as well socialize, right? 

Matthias let his eyes wander among the crowd in the room, not immediately seeing anyone particularly interesting to talk to. Everyone was a lot bigger than he was and it was intimidating...

Off in the corner of the room, he spotted someone not as intimidating. ‘Time to make my move.’ he thought before he made his way past the crowd and slid up next to the stranger.
