drawings or collages?

I'm trying to incentive myself to represents images in drawings but in this project I wanted to try working with photographs but in a collage way. Actually to be more fast the creation of the zine.  But, since I'm trying to draw more, I will intervene in some parts with drawings, sometimes abstract drawing, to represent one part of the story with drawings. I actually don't know why, I just feel that it could bring more tenderness to the story, knowing that somebody hand drawing that.

The idea of the poem's illustration is inspired in Aidan Koch's illustrations. She creates illustrated narratives with not completed drawings and with a blank space that encourages the reader to imagine whats is going on in the history and also be a part of the story. That's called drawing in a fragmentary style.  

As she said, "If I drawn a whole scene that shows her whole body on a beach over and over, the reader is an outsider in relation to the story, a spectator, and it’s a more voyeuristic experience. Whereas moving between her point of view, of her legs and looking up at the sky—there’s a part where I moved the water panels on their sides so that it’s her perspective while she’s lying down—it’s about her vision. It’s her mindset. I like giving the images the ability to expand their meaning."

My problem is to create a narrative that links the duality with images. Connect my poem with the same images but playing with the construction of the images, giving the idea of duality.

If there is a “duality of come and go” based on the picture of a road, I could exemplify by a drawing of a road and someone looking through the window. Someting that gives the idea of movement in different directions.

“Appears and disappers” could be a drawing that shows space, a blanc space. A negative space. Something that you can’t see, is hidden.
