I almost got hacked.

I downloaded a file that I thought was legitimate and it turns out it was actually a PASSWORD STEALER. Once I put two and two together, I quickly disconnected my laptop from the Wi-Fi, ended the task it was running, deleted the downloaded file (no Recycling Bin, just deleted it), emptied the Recycling Bin just in case, and then shut down my laptop just before a restart.

Thankfully, it seems I managed to stop the virus before it did any damage. My email is safe, everything attached to my email is safe, and my laptop's not running the file anymore. Everything seems to be okay now, and thank GOD for that.

To anyone who is reading this: PLEASE do not automatically assume the first link you see on Google is legitimate. It could very well be a virus.

YouTube reccomended me this today.

I've never heard of "Nebula and Quasar" before.

I've also never become a fan of something so fast.

Go and watch this if you have the time. While I grew up with Fruitiger Aero stuff, the early CGI of the Y2K era is something I've been fascinated about, and this mimics that kind of feel PERFECTLY.

Whoever created this, you cooked hard, and I hope you take your time with cooking whatever these two encounter next.

And by the way...

SIIVAGUNNER ACTUALLY MADE A HIGH QUALITY RIP OF THE NAQ SOUNDTRACK.

Have I mentioned how much I love SiIvaGunner yet?

Regardless, go and give Nebula and Quasar some attention. It really nails the whole Y2K vibe, and I'd love for it to garner more attention.

I just had the worst night of my life.

My younger brother and I actually bet on who would win BFDIA 25, and I lost the bet. Our bet was that the loser would have to watch something on YouTube that the winner would choose. My little bro decided to force me to watch Yo Gabba Gabba, a kiddie show that I used to watch when I was little. (He knows I hate watching kiddie shows as I've outgrown them and hate how they tend to talk down to kids.)

And he made me watch. Every. Single. Episode.

I swear, the "Party in My Tummy" got so rowdy I almost puked. In fact, I STILL feel sick to my stomach as I write this. Thankfully, he decided to have mercy on me and made me stop after he couldn't find anymore episodes on YouTube, as well as when he finally realized that I wasn't doing all too hot. Better late than never, I suppose.

I'm just glad he chose one of the better shows. Still didn't like having to go through Gabbaland one too many times, but I was able to remove it all from my watch history afterwards. Hopefully I won't get reccomended Yo Gabba Gabba again.

I'm doing an AtO All-Star Askers ping here because I legit had the worst night of my life. I feel like utter shit right now. Some digital hugs would be nice, but, like on the picrew posts, there's no pressure here. You don't have to say anything if you don't want to, don't worry.

Okay, so, since I garnered some attention from that NAQ post, I wanted to talk about a theory I had that involves this little image within the File Select screen in the Opening Cutscene video.

As you can see, it's Nebula behind bars. But why would she be jailed?

Let's start with something I'd like to show you all: A shot from the opening cinematic I found strangely out of place.

It's Nebula, bursting into a conference room. And the man in front of Nebula seemingly gives a look of "Oh, so NOW you decide to show up."

Weird thing with this, however, is that a certain someone in the audience isn't visible at that conference.

CELESTE. The lab girl. Why would she not be there? Then it hit me. Notice something in the above picture?

Nebula's. Helmet. Is. On. The. Shelf.

My theory is that Celeste may have a bit of an obsession with Quasar, and got Nebula jailed in order to get Quasar to herself.

Here's another weird thing about Celeste. In the shipping AMV uploaded onto the channel, Celeste does...well...

...this. Yeah, apparently, according to the clip in the AMV (which is also from something called "NAQ Toons"), her little hairclips are her actual eyes, and a giant nose is what's behind the hair.

And while a comment did say this was retconned...

...I have my doubts it was FULLY retconned. My bet is that they just got rid of the "nose-face thing" plasmapunk2001 mentioned and not the "hairclip eyes" thing.

Regardless, think about it. We've never seen official depictions of Nebula or Quasar without their helmets. Why would Celeste have Nebula's, and why wouldn't she be at that conference?

Simple. The conference is for something involving Nebula (which she was somehow late for, hence the man giving Nebula a strange look), and Celeste was the one did her in, which is why she's absent.

And the proof is on Celeste's shelf. She's obsessed with Quasar, and despite the two being siblings, she wants Nebula gone regardless.

And the best way to do that?

Frame her for a crime she didn't commit and make sure she's locked up for it.

ATO UPDATE REEL #1

Hey, guys! So this is kind of a revival of an old format I did, where I updated you guys on future events. Last version had some storyline elements, but this newer version has those removed. It's just me talking to all of you guys this time around.

Firstly, Part 1 of Episode 2 of The Altered Digital Circus, "Candy-Coated Chaos", arrives tommorrow! There will be MASSIVE storyline divergences as I've stated before, and this one will have some of the biggest divergences in it. Believe me, it'll be very different from the canon TADC episode, and you'll all love it. I'm sure of it.

Secondly, I want to discuss something. In the AtO version of the Deltarune storyline, as I've made it abundantly clear in the past, the Weird Route is the canon route. And with the events of the Chapter 5 Weird Route (which I recently made an AtO Shorts post about) being COMPLETELY different from the main route, there is one thing I can very proudly say: A certain yellow twink who I want obliterated will NOT appear in the AtO storyline at all. Toby, you may have horrified me, but you made the Weird Route completely different, meaning I can avoid bringing that guy up in the AtO storyline. Thank you so damn much.

Thirdly, continuing on from that point, the timeline has very clearly been shifted. As you probably know, the AtO version of the Deltarune timeline progresses at the same time the canon timeline does. Now, while I'm not spoiling anything major about my post, I will say that thanks to @johnlocsin-johnyakuza's Backrooms-themed subplot, Catti has gone missing in the AtO version of Deltarune, and the festival has been delayed as a result of that. In the AtO timeline, Chapter 6 will now have the Festival in it instead, and I may just make a special post with the festival once it releases. Stay tuned for that.

Fourthly, I mentioned the Poolrooms in the last Backrooms post. Officially, it's known as "Level 37 - Sublimity", and is actually quite a safe area, with no entities around. It's also pretty well-known, all things considered. Here's a few photos of the Poolrooms level itself. It may look familiar to you.

However, that isn't to say a certain pair wouldn't possibly end up there that would genuinely be a threat. Remember, so far we haven't had any of the Vs. RetroSpecter crew show up yet, and I plan on including them. Which duo do we know who not only are part of the Infernalings, but who also live in a very watery area? I'll give you a hint: It's a certain someone who's very atroceous, and his much less horrendous sister and underling.

Fifthly and finally, on a more personal note, my mom just left to get surgery for a hip replacement. This has been in the works for a long while, and there's no risk with her doing this surgery, but regardless, she'll be staying at my grandmother's house post-surgery for a while while she recovers. I know she'll be okay, but I'll still really miss her being around the house.
