How althenos met her father

"My name is Odysseus, I'm the king of Ithaca. Who may you be?"

She pauses for a while "Althenos, of Sicily," She lies.

"Mm," He nods softly. honestly it's rather smart. Telling your little girl to give a boy's name to people she doesn't recognize. "How did you get here?" he asks.

Althenos gives him a look like she thinks he might be dumb before gesturing to the shipwreck.

“You've done nothing but talked about her for 10 years” Eurylochus jokes. “‘Have i told you about my wife?’ ‘I miss my wife, she's just the best,' 'you know my wife made this. Isn't her weaving great?’ ‘my wife is even prettier than Helen, i’m so lucky’ ” he mocks 

Odysseus chuckles “well she is the best weaver among mortals. And I've never said she's prettier than Helen. Helen's very lovely. I've said she's just as beautiful as Helen. Which she is.”

Heres some art ive drawn on althenos' all grown up and off on another adventure.

both of Odysseus' kids fighting styles are based off of the animals they grew up playing with, Telemachus uses a sword and shield, and favors close combat where he can hit you with the sheild as well as his sword, where as Althenos stalks and pounces, preferring a knife or a shorter sword.

since Althenos casts most of his spells with the use of magic herbs and tinctures, his fingers are near permanently dyed the same blue as his spells
