Sophie and Benedict arriving at My Cottage in the rain (ever so book-coded). Benedict insists that he can light his bedroom fireplace by himself. He walks out with a swagger only for Sophie to call,

"Are you not missing something?"

He turns, tilts his head.

"Not at all."

Sophie tries to squash down her smile.

"Do you not need a light to start a fire? Or do you have powers mere mortals do not possess?"

Benedict, pauses for a moment, mind briefly searching for an excuse. It fails, and he stalks back, and snatches the wick from Sophie trying to hide his own delight at this maid's teasing.

And so this would perfectly lead onto this clip:

Where Sophie teaches Benedict how to light a fireplace and Benedict falls head over heels in love with her (in the days after this he will tell himself it was the fever, a trick of the moonlight, the aftermath of a stressful evening. Years later he will serenade his children of this night.)
