ALTRUQUEER [ 🕊️💚🌈 ]

[ "altru–" prefix taken from the word "altruism" which means "the belief in / practice of selfless concern for the well-being of others." ]

Altruqueer is a blankqueer stance which focuses on loving and accepting everyone as they are, with an emphasis on peace, unconditional love, pacifism, and reducing all forms of (nonconsensual) harm.

Pro:

Pacifism (directed more at anarcho-pacifism, but you do not have to identify as an anarcho pacifist.)

Justice (fair and unbiased punishment.)

All mental health.

All contradictory labels (eg: lesboy / turgirl, mspec lesbian / gay, etc).

Xenogenders.

All transIDs (including transharmful / transhateful identities such as transr4pist and transnazi.)

Paraphilias (including the big three.)

Re-evaluation of the "justice system."

Choice & consent.

Consensually abusive relationships.

Ignoring, avoiding, blocking people you dislike rather than trying to smite them off of the internet.

The right to ship / create whatever you want in fiction (proship / profic.)

Everyone has the opportunity to do better, even if they choose not to take it.

Letting ex-abusers / ex-offenders and "bad people" recover and redeem themselves without attacking them.

The idea that you can acknowledge someone's ability to improve and be kind to them, without forcing yourself or others to forgive them.

Everyone deserves a life and everyone deserves to be treated like a person. "Bad people" are still just that. People.

"I disagree, but I'll defend your right to say it."
